This seat is sturdy, comfortable, and is narrow enough to allow great clearance. I would definitely purchase an Origin 8 seat again, but in a different color. After the first day of use, the denim from my pants had stained the majority of the seat light-blue. I purchased the white seat to match the appearance of my bicycle, but by the second day, ended up with a blue seat. It is still a great seat, just watch what color you buy!

The saddle is, as mentioned by others, not truly white. It is off-white.
Also, not shown in the picture but mentioned by others, there is a logo on the tip of the horn/nose. I bought this saddle and some Avenir white cork handlebar tape to dress up an older Trek road bike. The fact that the saddle is not quite as pictured initially disappointed me, but turned out to be OK. It still looks quite good with the white handlebar tape. And the logo is about the size of a nickel, and the colors are fairly subdued, so it is not obnoxious. Stamped on the plastic underside is "Velo".

With all of that being said, this is actually a very good-looking saddle. Better looking than I expected. The material is thick, the stitching is nice, and the rails are painted black. Without the logo, you would easily think that this is a much more expensive saddle.

As for fit: Not much to say, really. Everybody's backside is different. You have to try different saddles to find what fits. This doesn't have a ton of padding, and I find that I like that on longer rides.

I don't know about longevity, yet. For the price, though, it doesn't really matter. This is cheaper than the cheapest saddle at any local store, even the 'Mart. For under twenty, delivered, you would be hard-pressed to beat this deal.

I will not only consider this saddle again in the future, but am already planning on buying one in a different color for one of my other bikes.

This seat is really what getting the most for your money is all about! It's a great deal without sacrificing quality. MUCH more comfortable than the stock seat I started with! Comparable to more expensive saddles on the market that I was checking out!

Great condition it got to me, but now i wonder will it fit in any seat post or will i have to purchase a special one?

I really like the look of this seat, very good design. The comfort is perfect, I have other seats that should feel better but this feels better than those.

Though others said this was unusable I find it quite comfortable and it supports my sit bones. This is a male saddle though and anyone with a wide pelvis should avoid it.

I was in the process of rebuilding an old bike and needed a new saddle. I was skeptical about the product since it was priced so low, but when I received the product in the mail (2 days early!!!) I was THRILLED at the end product. It was perfect!

I left a stock Vinesse saddle for this Origin8 saddle. It looks good and rides good. It was a bit stiff at first but I can tell this saddle is made for speed and not for cruising. I got used to it and my cadence got better as well as my lap times. My bike shorts have stained it a bit but I rubbed some fabric cleaner on it and it came off first try. This is a great saddle for anyone looking to ride in style and keep their bike colors in tune.

Other than that, it works, I'm very OCD about color tones, and when I ordered with, I wanted white, not eggshell, or taupe.

does the job and it's cheap. very easy to install, what more can you ask for? price can't be beat either.
