While reading either Newtype USA or Otaku USA I found an article about Kannon Wakeshima, and being a fan of cello music, I was instantly drawn to the article.

A few years latter I purchased her albums on itunes and loved them. I purchased this single containing 3 tracks. As my favorite track is "Suna No Oshiro" this was in my opinion a great deal.

Kanon Wakeshima started playing the cello at age 5, and is really good. Her music appears in the anime "Vampire Knight" - which I have not seen, and she doews voice over work in at least one eppisode.

Being a Japanese import the liner notes are in Japanese and great practice material for translating.

In my opinion any fan of JPop, JRock, or anime should own at least one CD by Kannon Wakeshima.

"Still Doll" is a more catchy and captivating song, but "Suna no Oshiro" is a pretty good song and Miss Wakeshima sings with greater power in this song. The video clip for this song and "Still Doll" are fabulous.

I believe that Kanon Wakeshima is doing some pioneering work in her music. I can't think of anyone else who is doing anything similar. I look forward to future albums from this young artist.

My daughter and I can listen to this CD together. Unbelievably Beautiful! Great for anyone who appreciates beautiful music. We just love it.

Kanon is an amazing musician, and the title song has an eerie quality to it. I love it! The other tracks in the CD are great too!
I recommend getting also her debut CD "Shinsoku Dolce", which is shock full of wonderful songs.

It is a good song. Reminds me of innocence and childhood.

I just dislike buying CDs with only 3 tracks.
The first song is the best, then there's an instrumental version, and another song (skip turn step) which is ok.
The main song, Suna no Oshiro is really pretty, it starts with strings, and Kanon's voice is lovely. I recommend her Still Doll song(CD) highly.
