what a relief. our bread machine bit the dust last month and i thought i was going to have to replace it. i saw this replacement belt and decided to give it a try. i took the bottom pannel off of the bottom of the bread machine and low and behold the belt was worn out. it took about 10 days to get the replacement and about 15 minutes total to repair. i was making bread that night.

I will confirm what others have said, this belt is not for a Sunbeam 5891 breadmaker. It's not even close; wrong length, wrong width and wrong tooth pitch. It's been tagged in error. It is a good belt and I expect Oster breadmaker owners are happy with it, but you won't be if you're trying to fix your 5891.

Unlike what the dots in the list of models in the description might suggest, this does not fit Sunbeam 5891, the main model sold by amazon.

If you want this belt, you can get it directly from Goodman's for about 1/3 less overall.

I was horrified when my bread machine started making a horrible high pitched squeaking one day, my mother had given it to me and I wasn't ready for it to completely die on me. My boyfriend suggested that it was the belt, so I hopped online, found this and quickly ordered it. I didn't actually install it, but since replacing the belt, I haven't had any problems or recurrences of the high pitched squeaking. For under $20, I have been able to extend the life of my bread machine and in this economy, being able to cheaply and effectively repair an small appliance is the way to go.

The belt I purchased was the perfect fit. I was unsure after other companies said it was unavailable because it was for an older bread machine. I use it regularly,it's still going strong after several months. It actually made my old machine work much better. Thanks Goodman's you saved my day!

When my breadmaker stopped being able to knead, I opened it up, found the belt was loose, and ordered this replacement. Now it kneads again.
