I bought this iron at Target during a large scale male nesting phase for my new apartment. Upon using it the first time, I nearly threw it through a window. Unless you have it on the maximum setting it will leak water all over your clothes, and even then it still leaks water even when you just stand it up. I have never written an online review before, but this piece of junk made me too mad. So, unless you enjoy the combination of steam and pure rage, I suggest coughing up a few extra bucks and buying something better.

I bought this iron to use as my craft/sewing iron. I LOVE IT!!! It is the best iron I have used, I prefer it over my $100.00 Rowenta. I use it mostly for quilting and ironing is 50% of quilting, if your pieces are not properly ironed your quilt will look awful! I teach sewing in a high school and am planning on buying seveal of these irons for my classroom. They use less wattage and work great. I have never had a problem with it leaking.

Perfect accessory for a week-end quilt retreat. Some locations don't provide much space to work and this iron helps maximize what space you have. As a travel iron it saves weight allowance as well as packs well. Other than a smaller soleplate it works as well as its larger counterparts. Beginning quilters and those with more experience should benefit from the features this iron offers.
