This is a great iron. No, really, it is! Produces lots of steam, nice stainless steel plate, all controls are simple and user friendly. I only gave it 4 stars because the spout where you pour the water in is really small, so it's kinda tricky to fill with water without spilling some. Also you do have to put some elbow grease into stubborn wrinkles in a heavy fabric like denim. But, this iron does not leak water, steams well, and of course, you just can't beat the Amazon price!

I just can't figure out how this iron works really. Whatever position it is - whereever or whenever. I am just sorry I bought and wasted money and time in purchasing this item. And yes - I read the instruction and everything needed to be aware of.

The Sunbeam is not the best iron on the market, but it looks nice. It requires water to get hot and then you will have to turn it to the proper fabric level to get some results. It is not a plug and go iron, it requires attention. However, it is safe for a home with children, since is cools itself down when not in use and it is never to hot for the touch. The iron will shut itself off if you leave it a few minutes, so it has its own brain. Therefore, if you have children I would suggest you purchase this very safe iron, but expect to work at ironing your clothes.
