I purchased this item about three months ago after my 30 year old Black and Decker finally passed on. My primary use is for sewing applications and I purchased it because it was on sale and seemed like it had quite a few features for the price point. I had researched Rowentas, Black and Deckers and everything in between and I couldn't find an iron that seemed like it was an all around great deal. I did end up settling for this one because I couldn't justify the price of a Rowenta and the Black and Decker that is so popular wasn't available in any store near my house. So far, I've been very happy with this purchase. It puts out quite a bit of steam and has a nice weight behind it. It heats up quickly and lights up green to indicate that its ready for use. I also like that one can use regular tap water in this, rather than filtered water. The cord is plenty long for my uses and never seems to get tangled. There's also plenty of room at the base of the iron to wrap the cord around itself and it has a little clip to keep the cord in place. It also has a one year warranty. The only drawback I've found to this iron is that the temperature controls are on the handle and occasionally, I accidentally change the temperature setting while ironing. Its a nuisance and that's why I dinged one star on the review. Overall, this is a great iron and I hope it gives me many years of good use.

I have owned and operated this this iron for over a year and a half. Works good. I don't know the deal with the other reviewer, mine works great. The cord is long and as an iron the labels are self-explanatory.

sunbeam steam auto shutoff iron. I LOVE this iron, i just ordered my second one. It is a great iron. I LOVE the LONG cord,shuts itself off, which is a plus for me. It is a little heavy, but worth it. I really recommend it. bought from amazon.com, the best iron i have ever had, I iron each week,iron all my husband's clothes, and all my shirts, dresses, etc.

Very easy to use. Light weight. A lot of great features. The only drawback is that the +/- buttons for changing the temperature (to cotton, wool, etc.) are too low on the handle and too easy to press accidentally.

I love the Sunbeam 4267-000-000 Professional Digital Stainless Steel Soleplate Iron. It is easy to handle and lightweight as well. I would highly recommend it. I was also pleased with how quickly my order was processed and delivered.

I bought the first one for myself and my wife and I love it very much. No dripting, fast warm up and ready to use. This is the second one I bought for my brother-in-law. The only cons is water compartment is too small and needs to fill water every time we use.

This iron does a great job, has both steam and spray features that work very well, and it's easy to see what the current heat setting is. It also is a little bit heavy. The one major drawback is that the button for increasing the heat setting is on the handle right where I grip it when I'm ironing, and I am constantly accidentally pushing the button and changing the heat setting. The iron beeps when it goes to a different heat setting, which is helpful, but it is extremely frustrating to have to keep readjusting the heat setting while I am ironing. For this reason, I cannot recommend this iron, even though it performs well otherwise.

This is the best steam iron I have ever purchased. It really gives me fine creases on my pants and asily removes wrinkles. Love it. I bought two and gave one to my daughter in law. She also says it is the best iron she has had. Great job Sunbeam!

This a pretty good iron. Sturdy, nice soleplate. My wife doesn't think it steams as much as it should, but it seems fine to me. My biggest problem is that it's too easy to accidentally press the heat settings button while ironing. Overall, I think it's a good iron and worth the price.

THIS IS THE WORST PIECE OF MADDNESS I'VE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. IT WILL NOT HEAT UP,IT DOES NOT HAVE CLEAR CUT INSTRUCTIONS TO OPERATE. I KNEW I SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT A ROWENTA. IT STINKS,THE CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER WANTS YOU TO TAKE IT TO A DEALER TO SERVICE THE THING,BUT I'LL HAVE TO MAIL MINE OVER 200 MILES AWAY TO GET SATISFACTION,IN HOPES THAT THEY CAN FIX IT. DO NOT BUY THIS ONE GET A ROWENTA!!!!!
