Was hesitant because of weight but not an issue. It is much more powerful than I'd hoped. There is plenty of steam at regular setting but blast off at turbo. It can be used in vertical position for steaming, too. Even denium needed only 1 pass.
The ready light lets you know when it is. It also signals when it shuts off. Super buy!

i recently purchased this iron last month on amazon.com when it was about $10 less than it is now and with free shipping and i absolutely love it! i don't like stainless steel sole plates on my irons which is why i usually get T-Fal irons because they have the best non-stick sole plate that glides over everything without sticking or scorching no matter how hot it gets but i wanted to try something new. The Sunbeam 6060 is worth the slightly higher price than most T-Fal irons. i like the large water reservoir that holds 10oz and how the iron knows how much steam to put out based on the setting you choose. it even has an off setting which most cheap irons do not have. the color is great and neutral; the cord is not that long so you have to be close to an outlet and the cord does not retract into the iron. other than that, its an excellent iron for the price and the features you get.
