We have 5 electric blankets and this one is the best. It heats up quickly and actually gets warm. The blanket does not shed. The color is not what I thought but it stays on the bed well. I love the look of the blanket as well. A great deal. We will probably purchase another one because my other daughter's blanket sheds uncontrollably. Great buy!

On December 26, 2009 my wife and I purchased the Sunbeam Twin Camelot Haven Heated Electric Blanket Warming Heating Mattress Pad, 300 Thread, from Games and Gifts Emporium. We purchased this item for our son. Our son is a Battlefield Medic in the Army and got sent to the front lines in Afghanistan; while he was there he was sleeping in a "summer" sleeping bag because his winter bag was never issued to him. Since the heater in the tent was broke more often than working, he would hardly get any sleep due to the cold and got up many mornings not being able to feel his toes; needles to say he was very happy when his electric blanket arrived. The Electric blanket and mattress pad were of very high quality and survived his entire deployment, including being hit by shrapnel from a mortar Shell that hit my son's tent (luckily he was not in it). When my son left, he gave the Electric blanket to his replacement (amazingly it still works). Thank you and your staff for setting such high quality standards for your products. Please share this email with your staff so that they may know that the products they produce not only serve there regular costumers but in this case helped keep a soldier warm and two parents with one less thing to worry about.

Purchased on September 15, 2010. Died on October 12, 2011. When it worked it was fine, but product life span was far too short. So, if you buy this, save the box.
