Sunbeam Digital Large Display Timer

This timer comes with a battery to install, so you know the battery is not run down. The display is big and easy to see. The buttons are large. The timer can be set in hours (up to 19 hours) and minutes. There is a magnet on the back to attach it to the frig. The alarm is loud and you can readily hear it in a noisy kitchen. My only gripe is that the magnet on the back is a bit small and the timer is raised, so when you press the buttons, the timer moves around on the frig surface. Would buy again.

The good is: is that this unit does calculate multiple hours if you are cooking roasts or just simply want to time something longer than the 60 or 99 minutes that many timers do. The numbers are large.
But while some people may prefer a 5 or 10 minute warning beep; I do not want to have to run into the kitchen or be distracted 10 minutes before I need to; so my complaint is - if you have this feature advertise it, so that those of us that do not want it do not have to have it. Granted it would probably make the unit more expensive, but make that feature one that could be turned off and on. I for one would gladly pay extra for that; so my main complaint here is... tell us what your timers do so we can be happy with them when we receive them -- this gets 2 stars for having extra irritating beeps calling you 10 and 5 minutes before you are needed.

The start/stop button is off to the side. The magnet is in the middle. So when I push the button, the timer rocks off the magnet and falls on the floor. It broke after two days.

This timer is easy to set up and the beep is loud; the warning at 10 and 5 minutes as it counts down is very helpful. It sets up on a built-in "stand" that folds flat for storage or you can attach it to a metal surface with the magnet on the back. The only negative is that it is made out of plastic, so if it is dropped, I am not sure if it will break. In using it, I realize that a timer with the ability to time more than one item would be helpful (just finished Christmas dinner!), but as it is and at this price, works great.

This is just what I needed! My eyesight isn't very good and I can see this pretty well.

Small unit but large numerals in digital form. Works easily and accurately. A good addition to the kitchen.

The Sunbeam timer I received was not as described, the dimensions given in the description are grossly in error. It is not 2 x 5.5 x 4.7 inches but 1 x 2.8 x 2.3 inches Nor is this a 'large digit' timer, in fact the digits are significantly smaller than those on the cheaper CDN TM15 timer that is about the same overall size.

Large display. NO SECONDS!! Easy to work. Wish I had gone to Wal-Mart. Too expensive for what it is.

This little timer is excellent. It's such a shame that I had to send to the USA for it. It's the only one I've found that tells you when there are 10 minutes left and then when there are 5 minutes left, which is invaluable when you're cooking and entertaining guests. Come on UK, start selling things that people want and work well !

This is the one you want. No problems, by minute or hour, up to 20 hours. Easy to see, easy to operate.
