Works great, easy to wash,
By Mr. Retropia (Columbus, OH United States) - See all my reviews As another reviewer noted, our cats act like they're drugged while sleeping on it. I think it pulls them into a deeper sleep, too. The only small negative I can think of is that the hard-plastic socket, that the electric cord plugs into, is located on the top of the mattress pad towards the bottom edge, in the middle of the pad. If your feet travel all over the bed, you might notice this. Mine don't, so I don't find it to be a major problem. A better design would have located the socket along the side of the mattress pad instead of the top.

This review is from: Sunbeam Heated Matress Pad Auto-Off Control Full Size
I bought this matress pad for my 81 year old father. His legs and hips often ache at night and he is often cold due to poor circulation. The first night he used it, he said he was pain free. He was thrilled with the pad. After two weeks of normal use the light on the controll started blinking and the pad no longer heated up. We tried to unplug it and plug it back in, but it stays on for about 30 seconds and then shuts off. We paid $50 for two weeks of use...not worth it. I did a little research online and it seems that lots of people have this same problem with sunbeam matress pads.
