5.0 out of 5 stars Very Warm blanket
We actually received this item as a Christmas gift first, and then traded it in for the Ivy color (see review on the ivy item). Both are excellent items, and we would have kept this one except for the color. However, what I loved about it was that it actually worked really, really well. This was a nice blanket but failed 1 month in- their warranty is the kind where you spend more on postage sending them back and forth when the blankets inevitably fail.

We actually received this item as a Christmas gift first, and then traded it in for the Ivy color (see review on the ivy item). Both are excellent items, and we would have kept this one except for the color. However, what I loved about it was that it actually worked really, really well. There are three heat settings, plus it turns off after 3 hours so you don't have to worry about burning yourself or getting overly sweaty throughout the night. We actually DID save money on our power bill last winter (January was almost $40 lower than December!). It was pretty amazing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mom Absolutely Loves It., February 17, 2010

Soft, warm, comforting--it's all that I needed it to be for my mom who is always cold these days. She loves it. Well worth the price. I'll buy it again when this one where's out. Color is perfect, material is soft and plushy, and it's machine washable, too. Wonderful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great blanket - service was amazing, October 22, 2010

Pros
- works great, I've been looking for one of these for a while. I used to watch tv with a heating pad in my lap, this is much better
- heats up quickly
- soft material
- operates as expected!
Cons
- you can easily feel the wiring inside. I was expecting the blanket to be more plush to hide the wires better - still works great and I can deal with that
- I wish it was a few inches longer

Shipping Company - outstanding!
-I placed the order in the morning, they contacted me immediately to let me know they don't accept Discover Card (another con), around 3:45 that day I got back to them with a different card, and when I got home from work the NEXT day, it was at my door. Granted it shipped from the same state, but the company was really on the ball...fantastic!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Rave reviews!, January 5, 2010

I sent to a coworker as a gift, and she loved it. She said it was so nice that I am going to buy one for myself!

3/11/2011 ADD: I didn't get one for myself because I ended up getting a hot tub, which always warms me up perfectly whenever I'm cold. However, the person who got this as a gift from me has repeatedly told me how wonderful it is. Just last month she was saying what a lifesaver it was in keeping her warm and how soft and cuddly it is. She washes it without problems, carries it to use in different rooms, and she also said she likes to sleep both under it and on top of it. Since she has gotten so much use out of it and still raves to me about how great it is, I would say it was worth the money.

The product was just as described. It was a beautiful color and matched perfectly with my camel recliner. It was also very, very soft and works splendedly. I love it very much.

I like this electric blanket. It gets warm enough and I like the fact that it stays on until you unplug/turn it off. There is no timer or automatic switch, just low, medium and high.I tried it at home and it's really hot, but in school, I can't feel it as strongly. I use it in class because they turn up the air-conditioner to freezing temperatures.

There are two pieces, the blanket with the partial plug sticking out of the blanket, and the plug for the outlet which has the other end of the plug you connect to the blanket. The only thing I don't like about it is that, the plug from the blanket, to the plug in the outlet keeps unplugging because it can't latch tightly. I don't know if there is something I need to do to snap it on or not, but when I swivel in my chair, it drops out and I don't realize it until I no longer feel the heat, which is about 5-10 minutes later.

Total disappointment! It would either barely get lukewarm; or, just when it started getting to a comfortable temperature, it would shut itself off. The auto shut off was every 10-15 minutes, not hours. When it did warm, it chose what areas to warm...never the same ones and never the whole blanket at once. Great idea, but bad product.

We love our Sunbeam electric throws! We both have one, and in the evenings when we are still and quiet, either watching TV (hubby!) or reading (me!), we cuddle up in these warm, comfy throws and remain toasty warm without having to raise the thermostat! I highly recommend this product.

2.0 out of 5 stars sunbeam microplush throw, October 22, 2011

The woman in the picture looks so cozy with this warming blanket. Far from reality.
This blanket is way too small to be able to cozy as the picture shows on the advertisement.
It does not do too much for the lovely material this blanket is made of since
the electric wiring is stiff and the plug at the feet is attached to a very short joint control.

To be honest it does put out the heat and keeps me from lugging the lovely electric blanket from my mom's bed
to her favorite recliner chair in the living room.
I have no time o deal with returns. I am glad something keeps mom warm until I find the right warming cover.
On second thought Now what I will do is to buy a Cannon Twin size electric blanket for cozy plush ample size wrap up feeling for mom.
She is a little person 125LB. The control is not on a short leash as it is with the Sunbeam Throw.
