My search is finally over,
By John Doe "Mutant (AKA_Homo Superior)" (USA, America) - See all my reviews

I have purchased hundreds of dollars worth of cooking appliances looking for the one that would make my life in the kitchen easier. I have tried George Foreman Grill, Convection toaster ovens, Lightwave ovens, Turbo oven, Electric Counter top Grill, Pressure cookers, Crockpot slow cookers and many more. None of them comes up to expectation. And the one that is decent you still have the cleaning up to do afterward. That little cleaning chore makes cooking for the single guy not very appealing.
The Rocket Grill is the answer to all the single guys. Just prepare the food, put it in the parchment pouch and cook it per instruction. The food comes out delicious. And if you don't season it, it still comes out acceptable. The only cleaning up you have to do is to throw the bag in the trash. I myself use a scissor to cut a little slit at the bottom of the bag and drain off all the juice into the kitchen sink before throwing it away. I don't want the juice in the bag to be media for microbial growth after a couple of days in the trash container. For me, following the instruction gives perfect results. I have read on Amazon reviews where others recommend an extra-minutes or two. But after a couple of use, you should get a feel on what is the proper methods. But the best part about this product is the parchment pouches. It makes cooking no longer a tideous chore. As such you are willing to go back and try & try again until you get the feels of what is the proper methods to cook on the Rocket Grill. You are willing to try & try again even after reading the Amazon reviews that give you conflicting ideas about how to use the Rocket Grill. I whole heartly recommend the Rocket Grill. I heard that when the Rocket Grill first comes out, it was $125. I am glad that it has comes down as I would have never gave it a try at that price. And I would have missed out on such a great product. Thank you Sunbeam for such a great product.

Amazing!,

The rocket grill is the best kitchen appliance I've ever purchased! It cooks meats perfectly, and there is absolutely no clean up. Steak that isn't frozen cooks in 4-5 minutes with beautiful grill marks, and the meat is juicy and delicious. I haven't cooked frozen meat yet, but I've been told it does great with that as well. I have no idea what the person who gave this one star is talking about. Maybe they have this machine confused with something else, because the Rocket Grill is fantastic.

I love this grill. I use almost every day. I use it to grill veggies (which are perfection) and also Boca Burgers, and grilled cheese sandwiches.
I never have to clean it and it is easy to use and takes up little counter space. I have used this grill more in the few weeks I have owned it than all the George Foreman type grills that I have owned in years past.

Sunbeam 7530 Rocket Grill Electric Grilling Appliance
I have had this grill for a couple of years now and I would be hard pressed to say which I like better - this or my George Foreman GRP100.George Foreman 3-Plates Stainless Steel Grill - GRP100 This grill is perfect for my DH and I! It works equally well for frozen and fresh meats. Veggie burgers too! Great for those nights that I'm just to tired to cook. We can have a good meal in a flash - with NO clean up! You need to play with the times that they suggest. I've found that I need to cook everything a little longer, esp. chicken. We have given several as wedding gifts this year and have received great reviews from the recipients. IMHO, you can't go wrong with this grill.

USE it everyday,
By
This review is from: Sunbeam Rocket Grill
We use this at our office every single day for lunch. There are 4 of us ladies and we cook everything from steak, to fish to chops to chicken. Everything is moist, grilled beautifully, tender, and the cleanup is nothing! sure you have to wash your plates and forks, but if your a complainer then use paper and plastic-yeesh! another good thing, this item does not smoke while cooking like a Foreman grill does. So we use it in our office kitchen and save major money on lunch everyday- how much? I alone have saved over $800.00 in lunch money. I would spend about $10.00 a day on lunch x's that by 5 days, by 4 weeks. We have had this grill since January. My grocery bill for my weekly lunch is only $25.00 for 5 days of food.

I have purchased this item and found this item to be the perfect item for someone that does not have time to spend in the kitchen. There is no clean up. The manufacture suggests that you should check the pull out tray to see if any liquids might have escaped. I have owned this grill for 6 mos plus and never once had to clean the pull out tray. When cooking my meals, the bags are very durable and have never torn creating a mess. I have purchased bags from Amazon and found the bags not too expensive. I formally used the George Forman Grill until I puchased this grill. I cannot go back to George and the reason why, the clean up. One extremely Satisfied Customer!!!!

Don't waste your money,
This review is from: Sunbeam Rocket Grill
We bought one because the "no mess" sounded wonderful. The first few times we used it, we thought it was great. Then we realized there IS a mess whenever the bag leaks down into the lower parts of the machine, and it will! We didn't even know it was doing it at first. Also, it gets irritating to have to purchase the bags which aren't that cheap. We ended up throwing the thing away, as there just isn't a way to clean way down in the bottom. I always end up going back to my cast iron frying pan!

Very good product. I loved the fact that there was no cleanup after cooking. Just throw the bag out. It will take some trial and error to learn the proper cooking time to cook items to your individual satisfaction. but once you do they come out perfect. You can put steaks in directly from the freezer. Use the cooking time guide as a guide to start. Do not leave food in the grill after the timer goes off otherwise it will continue cooking.

Easy to use and clean grill,

I was skeptical about purchasing this grill because I already had numerous grills that were used once or twice and became dust collectors. That includes the outside gas or electrics, and inside George Forman types. The idea of disposable pockets and easier cleaning sounded good. After many months use, it has proven one of our most used cooking appliances. It really cooks things easily and well. The cooked items get done fast, retain seasoning used on them, and come out as good or better than any other grill I used. Clean up is much easier than other grills too and am happy each time I merely throw away the used pouch. Time of cooking items is not always accurate. I don't fault the machine, but how I calculate the time. Thickness of the items definitely impacts time, and is sometimes hard to include in the calculations. I prefer things a little more done than undercooked, and generally add 10 to 20 percent to the recommended time for the various items I cook (6 minutes instead of 5, etc).
