5.0 out of 5 stars Rocket Grill & pouches
The Rocket Grill & pouches are a very convenient way to grill meat fat free. The drippings fall into the bottem of the pouch. The unit is best for two people. The pouches hold two chicken breasts (Medium size) or steaks etc. Grill is fast and requires almost NO cleaning.
We are happy with the product.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not like the ones that come with the grill
When I put my rib eye into these pouches, and grill it for like less than 4 min (for a rare test), it would hold to its promise and give me a pretty good meal. Well, the problem is, I don't often eat rare steak, or more often than not, the steak is but a bit over 10 oz. If that's the case, the pouch will break, the juice will leak out, and your grill will be "flooded"...

5.0 out of 5 stars No Cleanup, March 22, 2007
This review is from: Sunbeam 7545 Rocket Grill Parchment Pouches, 36 Pack (Kitchen)
I have used the RocketGrill ever since I opened the box. I got 60 of the parchment pouches with the grill and I have used all of those and order 3 more boxes with 36 each. I pouches work great. No mess to cleanup.

5.0 out of 5 stars Busy Woman-Busy Life...This is your best appliance!, April 5, 2008

This is amazing. I get up at 5AM, pop a frozen chicken breast, lightly salted, into the bag--turn it on and then 9 minutes later. after I have enjoyed my morning coffee--it is done. Then, it is easy to add salad, grape tomatoes, balsamic dressing.. and run off to work. I'm eating better, feeling better...and no cleanup. My husband presented me with this appliance for my birthday. I was annoyed, wondering why ANYONE would want to 'toast' their dinner. Hmmm, no oil, no pan, no soaking in the kitchen, no sponging up afterwards. Now, I get it! I hope you get one too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy Cooking - No Cleaning!, February 23, 2007

I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase of the Rocket Grill and the pouches! I did a lot of homework online before committing to the purchase, and it really does what it says! Even my uber-skeptical husband said he's pretty impressed with it and has been known to use it himself. The pouches are great for keeping food moist with no clean up. I have only had two exceptions. I did have one bag that was defective, so I had to clean up a little "juice", but it's easy since the little plastic tray at the bottom slides out. One defective bag out of 60 is good odds, so I'm not upset. The other time, I did not follow the thickness guidelines for chicken, so I had to cook longer than the guide said. I think I may have damaged the bag when putting it back in for the second round of cooking, and had to again clean up a little "juice". That said, not following guidelines/directions is my fault, so I do not blame them for that one. Overall, I believe the Rocket Grill and the pouches are well worth the every penny I spent!

A NO MESS WAY TO PREPARE FOODS IN THE GRILL.
A GREAT IDEA. COOK AND THROW IT AWAY WITH THE FAT IN THE BOTTOM OF THE POUCH.

5.0 out of 5 stars "May I have the parchment please.......and the winner is", October 4, 2007

SUNBEAM!! Ok, I have had this item for well over a year and it is a big hit in my house! It truly does what it claims and you don't sacrafice taste or texture!

Pro's & con's: 4 min Hamburger's!!! Busy family, need I say more! We have upgraded to a higher quality meat, because the Rocket Grill does such a great job. The bigger patties mean I have to cook 1 at a time (con).
I have cooked chicken and pork also and it works just as good. Timing is something you have to play with to get it "just right". It is great if you have a recipe that calls for a couple of breasts grilled.....throw them in a pouch with seasoning and you are on your way!

Hard to do a meal for 4 and servce it all hot, unless you have a warming drawer. I can say I haven't experimented with recipes too much, although the pouches do allow you to add whatever seasoning you like and then voila 4-6 minutes you are done!!

**Be sure you give the machine enough time for the plates to open after grilling. I was not patient and for the first month or so thought mine was "broken", NO it slowly opens back up when the timer goes off.

This is the cheapest place to buy these pouches! The Rocket Grill is just the neatest thing ever invented and works like a charm! So glad to find a place I can get replacement pouches without feeling I am being gouged!!!!

This is a strange invention. But it really works! It is as good as the Forman but without the messy cleanup. I bought a pile of extra pouches in case this unusual machine is discontinued.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Big Hit!, August 21, 2008
This review is from: Sunbeam 7545 Rocket Grill Parchment Pouches, 36 Pack (Kitchen)
Got this for son off to college, but after trying it out, we bought another for the house. It makes the very best Quesadillas ever. You can grill the chicken from frozen (the times in the guide were too long but once adjusted this was great), take a large tortilla - put the cheese and sliced cooked chicken - fold, bag, and grill for a couple or 3 minutes - and the very best! Really good for the precooked chicken sausages, frozen hamburgers, etc.. The bags will break if you put a lot of wet seasonings in them without shaking off before bagging, but a touch of olive oil and seasonings, or a few drops of Worchester on a frozen hamburger is amazing. Does what it's suppose to. Terrific when everyone is in and out and hungry at different times.

I have used the Rocket Grill Pouches and have found them to be very easy to use and they really hold the grease at the bottom. Nice product!
