This has to be one of the worst coffee makers that I have ever used. The problems that I found were also stated by other people as well. I wish that I could give it less than one star. The problems that I found are as follows:

1. Attempting to fill water storage area for first time turned into a mess when I was focused on filling it up while being half asleep. Found that water was spilling out of the back from holes put there in manufacturing process. Idiotic design.

2. Unit leaks water from somewhere onto counter. Mystery leak that others complained about as well.

3. Carafe is the worst that I have had the misfortune of dealing with. Try to pour a cup of coffee & end up leaking on the counter, floor, etc. Whoever designed the carafe should be flogged or at least ridiculed by coworkers.

4. Unit overall is a mess to deal with. Everything about it is messy. The stupid swivel water dispenser is more trouble than it is worth.


DON'T waster your money on this garbage. Find another model or different brand.

I have always bought Mr. Coffee & have always had problems. This is no different. After a while it leaks out the bottom. This is our 3rd one this one is as bad as the other two. Customer service was no help at all. Borderline rude & pretty much call us liars. I will be throwing out this maker & telling friends & family not to buy Mr. Coffee. I'm going to try another brand and I don't know why it took me this long to see a substandard product and stop buying from them.

This is a dangerous machine to use! Water leaks from somewhere and I cannot find out where. There is a hole in the back of the unit where water will leak out of if you fill up the reservoir too much. However, it leaks when I'm only making 2 cups of coffee in the morning. Also, you cannot fit your hand or a sponge into it to clean it properly. Had to buy a special cleaning brush just to clean it! Mr. Coffee definitely lost me as a customer!!!!
