I bought my first throw last year and I love it. This year, my husband got one too. The fabric is beautiful and cozy, even with the power switched off. There are three heat settings (High / Medium / Low). I usually put it on High to warm up quickly then switch it to Low or Off. The controller shows a rating of 180W (I assume this is the maximum on High power). So it only use a couple of cents of electricity per hour. You will easily save the cost of the throw within one season if you lower your central heating by just one degree. It has a 5 year warranty too for piece of mind.
