I always like to read Stine, R. L. Fear Street's series. They are short but full of excitments. This book is mixed with both murders and romance. I quite enjoyed that and I could hardly put it down before finishing the book!!! This book is about these teenagers going down to a summer home. They went down for a vacation. Then when they get down there everything starts to go wrong. The house starts going insane. The lights go on and off, the AC is smelling, ect... The main characters are Claudia Walker, Joy, Marla, Alfred, and Daniel. Claudia was the one that got the summer home. She's in charge...

I always like to read Stine, R. L. Fear Street's series. They are short but full of excitments. This book is mixed with both murders and romance. I quite enjoyed that and I could hardly put it down before finishing the book!!! This story is about a girl Claudia and two other friends who were suddenly invited by a long-time-no-contact-friend Marla to spend the weekend at her Cliffside beach house one summer. At first, they all had nice time and they chatted a lot. However, many strange accidents began to happen at the beginning of the first night and they also realized that Marla seemed to have changed a lot. The weirdest thing was, Claudia saw a handsome ghost boy - Daniel!! And he saved her life once in one when she was stuck in the sand and couldn't come out. Was Daniel the one who made the accidents? Why did her come to her and disappeared suddenly again? I am not going to tell you the ending of the story so go and check it out!!! You will definately fall in love with it too!!!

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Sunburn (Hardcover)
I enjoyed this book and I think its because I've read so many

books of his. I have been reading R.L. Stine books for a long

time, ever since 4th grade and I am now in 7th.

I liked the book because it had a surprising ending. I'm

really good at solving the problems and guessing what the

book is about, but this time I had no clue. There is a lot of

painful experiences and injuries in this book. Someone dies
at the end and you won't guess who. (It's tricky)

I think that everyone can read this book. It's at an average

reading level. Just about any age will understand it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Kristen's review, October 12, 2004
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Sunburn (Hardcover)
I did like this book. I did like this book because it is a Fear Street book and I like all of the Fear Street books I have read. Also because all of the people who live on Fear Street at first something good is happening, after a while something bad starts to happen. Some times it is the people who live on Fear Street that is doing the bad thing that is happening to other people. I like it because most of the Fear Street books are murder mysteries. I love murder mysteries because I want to know who the murderer is, who is going to be murdered, and why they killed the person they murder.

The book is about a girl named Claudia. She goes to a friend's house for the week with two other friends that she met at a camp. All the girls' meat at the same camp at the same time and instantly became friends. Her friend Marla is rich and owns a beach that is practically in her back yard. Marla's sister died at the camp they met at. The two other girls think that Marla brought them there to torture or kill them and Marla has been acting differently, weird, and not her usual self. Is it really Marla or someone else trying to do bad thing maybe even kill them?

The kind of people who would like this book would be people who like mysteries. People who like evil tricks that are not the funny ones. Also people who like some drama and some love in a story. If you like all of those things in a story than you may like this book.

Surprising, suspensful, scary, splendid! I had a great time reading this book I highly reccomend it! You'll never be able to guess what will happen next and you'll love the ending! I have to admit, the description on the back of the book didn't sound veryu appealing to me, but the story is way better than it sounds!

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Sunburn (Fear Street, No. 19) (Mass Market Paperback)

I loved this book! It was great my favorite part was when we find out that someone you think is herself really isn't! But all around it is a good book.

This book is about 4 girls that have been friends forever! Three of them Claudia, Joy, and Sophia are going to their friend mare's manechin for a week. They are all really excited. Until someone is trying to make him or her suffer for wait they did a year ago. Read this book and find out what and who is making them SUFFER!

I think someone who would like this book would be someone who loves to go to the beach because it is all about the BEACH.
