The plastic components pop apart when you try to reel in the hose, such that the handle simply spins around. When you manage to keep that from happening, often the mechanism that is supposed to guide the hose around the spool doesn't function properly, so the hose winds up in a single spot. Basically, if you're in the market for a product of this type, buy something else. Anything else.

Connecting a hose to the cheap plastic attachment inside is hit or miss. Took me ten tries. Hooked up 100' of hose and tried winding it in. The thing flopped all over the place. You basically have to sit on it and hope it doesn't crack and crank the cheap handle. My wife also pointed out that it will become a haven for spiders. I'm taking it back. I've had better luck with the free standing taller units with a wide base and a place to put your foot when you're reeling. Boooo

THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT BUT, IT HAS A VERY CHEAP CONNECTION HOSE THAT DOES NOT LAST OVER 1 WEEK BEFORE BURSTING. THEY NEED TO IMPROVE THIS.
