Now it is all assembled but I haven't yet mounted it on the wall. The unit feels reasonably sturdy - for being all plastic - though I am very glad that I plan to keep very light supplies in the cabinet; I am not confident that the cabinet would hold up well with any weight in it.
For the price I really can't complain much, and if needed I would probably purchase another of these, though I would first consider the weight of the intended contents.
The review is worth 7 out of 10 so I rounded it up to 4 stars out of 5.
The instructions say you can put 50 lbs on each shelf. This item comes with a shelf and you can use it if you want or you can keep it out if you have tall items you are going to put in this cabinet. However, I would not put 100 lbs (total weight) in these cabinets. I am not worried about these coming off the wall but the bottom shelf will "bow" if you put more than about 30lbs on the bottom shelf let alone 50lbs.....The shelf that you can insert into this cabinet comes with a metal bar to prevent it from "bowing" but not sure why they couldn't have put in some type of metal bar on the bottom of this cabinet as well to prevent the bottom from bowing when you put heavy items in it. I put in 3, 5-quart jugs of oil in my cabinet and the bottom felt like it would bow if I put in anymore weight than that....my suggestion would be to put lightweight items in the wall cabinets and purchase the base cabinet that goes on the ground for the heavier items.
I ordered two base cabinets and put these immediately under the wall cabinets and it looks nice. I plan on putting the heavy items in these cabinets and just keep the lighter items in the wall cabinets.Read more ›
The spinklers came on for three minutes (I forgot to redirect the heads) and there was water all over the inside base of the cabinet. In each side of the cabinet there are two horizontal vents, one low and one high. I put duct tape over the lower vents (inside and out). I also put duct tape over the anchor holes in the back panel. All of these gaps are far too large for caulking.
I retested the cabinet several times by lightly spraying for 20-30 seconds each time. If I angled the cabinet slightly back, there was less water; however, water still came in. If I sprayed lightly on the sides like a light sideways rain or sprinkler water, water still got in through the door mechanism. I tried adjusting the push pins to allow for a deeper channel down the back and out the holes in the bottom but I could not stop all of the water from intruding.
In a heavy rain or if the cabinet is exposed to sprinklers, there will be water inside. I cannot use the cabinet.
If you get the cabinet, you may find that the push pins are hard to install because some of the holes don't all line up easily. I gave up on two and used nuts and bolts (thinner than the push pins) and that worked fine (no water intrustion in those locations).
I gave the cabinet three stars because it will work well indoors and I suppose it's my fault for not reading the Amazon description more carefully. There is room to add additional shelves you make yourself.

I thought I could use outside, but it is not water tight.
The back panel is a flimsy corrugated plastic too. Read more
Bought it for outside garden piece. Holds O.K. but not very secure to stay on its own. Has to be attached with screws to a wall.Published 10 months ago by Lucas
I'm actually very disappointment in this wall cabinet. The back is very cheap plastic. We bought four of them I think. Read morePublished 12 months ago by Darlene
The back of it is a little cheesy, cheap, flimsy. It's all right for what I wanted it for.Published 15 months ago by poco
It turns out that the inside dimensions are a lot smaller than I had anticipated. I ended up buying a different cabinet and repurposing this one for a different use than what I had... Read morePublished 16 months ago by Lonni
