After seeing every semi-automated hose reel break before even a year of ownership, I'm officially done with them. The crank breaks or the hose guide breaks or the plastic connector warps ... before you know it, you're out another $50 to go through the same thing again a few months later.

A better option is this hose hangout. It's really inexpensive and it simply works. Made of quality plastic, this item looks nice, installs easily, and holds my 70' worth of hose without a problem. Two big thumbs up here.

We have been using three of these which we purchased several months ago. They are easy to install and appear to be durable. The center portion works as a shelf for the hose nozzle. Good product for the price.

We had this type hose hanger for about 8 years...it finally broke. We looked everywhere locally to replace it but couldn't find on like it. Found it here and they shipped in 3 days!!!

granted $7-8 is not much to cry about, but when you can pick it up at the Depot for $3.50 why spend the extra scratch?
It is a great product, but save yourself some time and money and run down the street and pick one up.

I bought this to use as a hose rack for our central vacuum hose. Mounted it in the closet, and it works great. It is inexpensive and appears to be built from pretty cheap plastic, but for our use it is perfect.

This product provides an inexpensive hanger for your garden hose. It works good. Use it for hoses 100 ft or less. If you overload it, it could break over time or pull the screws out, but it does flex some with the weight of the hose. You'll need to get some screws to mount it. For some reason manufacturers don't provide mounting hardware with most of these hanger products.

Overall, I give it a high four star.

Bought this to replace our leaky, broken hose reel. It performs as advertised. Screw it to the wall and hang your hose on it. Seems plenty sturdy and will never rust!

What more can I say than the title of this review? This is also a great hanger to use for long extension cords that I use in the garage. It is a bit pricey here on amazon but that doesn't (and shouldn't) affect the number of stars received. There are five mounting holes on the Hose Hangout to ensure a secure attachment to the wall and I have a 100 foot hose that fits perfectly.

Keep it simple. Don't buy a more complex one that will just wear down, break or leak. This one is strong enough to hold a good 100 feet of hose easily. You can hang the end on it, either bare or with a nozzle or sprayer.

I have two of these hose hangers: one outside, and one mounted inside my garage for winter storage. The one outside has been in use for 10+ years without any damage.

I've found hose-carts and hose-reels are always a pain, getting jammed, rolling up unevenly, having the feed tube to the faucet pop off-- my last hose-reel would have that tube come loose during use, requiring me to shut off the water, unwind the entire hose, reattach the tube in the center of the reel, and then reel the hose back up. That created way more work than the reel saved.

This simple hanger doesn't have any moving parts and lets you coil the hose as neatly or as messily as you want. No having to get the wraps nice and even so the hose will fit on the cart!

Hoses are an annoyingly cumbersome part of home-care: smashing the grass, getting in the way of mowers, heavy and dirty to move around. This product makes dealing with them easier, and is Highly Recommended.
