I was looking for a patio box to store the kids' outdoor toys. I bought this one, but it is very flimsy and not worth the money. I wish I would have shopped around more, and bought a sturdier one with a seat. The funniest part is even though the name of the product is Patio Storage Box, inside the lid there is a warning that says "Not intended for storage." If it is not for storage then what is it for!

Junk don't buy it! I purchased this at our local target store, it was a clearance item and could not be returned. Paid $60 for something that wasn't worth the cardboard box it was packaged in. This deck box is flimsy all around the lid shifts way too easily and doesn't meet up properly with the the front wall, you are unable to lock it down.

I thought it would be made more sturdy. It snapped together easy but is not a very high quality plastic. It has alot of storage area but I do not expect it to keep things very dry.

This box is roomy but made for soft light weight items . Thin walls and floor that will not take heavy sharp objects without breaking or bowing out . Pads, pillows etc. would be fine as it is but I put cardboard and one inch foam exercise pads in the bottom so I could set Camp Dutch Ovens in it without punching holes in the floor . Make sure it is sitting on a fairly level surface since it will bow out of square and the lid not shut properl. But is water proof if level and lid closed correctly . Can be locked but a person of average strength could twist off and break the plastic tabs by hand that hold the lock (with the lock) . A lock would keep children out and that's about it . It is made to store outdoor furniture pads and not things with sharp legs or heavy enough to lean against the side walls . I like the room inside and made allowances for the thin walls etc. But though not as pretty a large Aluminium Army Surplus Medical transport box is better for my purposes (cheaper too) .

Easy to put together. Very flimsy. Would not want to sit on it. Wheel came off immediately and would not stay on. Does not shut properly.

Hi. Not worth the money. The product is quite flimsy and rain has a way of penetrating into the interior. Other suncast models are much better.

I love this box! It is the perfect size for all our chair cushions, umbrellas and even the xl bbq cover when the grill is in use. It keeps everything perfectly dry - even in heavy rains. It's muted tones mean it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Yes I would have loved a pretty wooden one - but you just can't beat this price. Simple to put together in a matter of minutes.

Okay, so here's the deal. we bought this from our target on clearance for like 40 dollars for our son's outdoor toys. thought the price was awesome in comparison to other deck boxes we'd looked at. went together easily & yes, indeed it isn't as sturdy as i'd like it to be. HOWEVER... this said, it holds several balls, baseball bat & ball, fold & go trike, a small trailer & still has more room. it isn't waterproof but this can be solved by putting some caulk around the seams. overall, i'm pleased w/ my $40 buy. and... this is for our toddler so i doubt he'll complain too much!

Just purchased our second Suncast deck box for gardening tools, pots, and supplies. The first box is on our patio and stores cushions amd miscellaneous maintenance items. If you remember to keep it on a flat surface and don't overload it with heavy items, it works just fine. Assembly was easy and everything fit together without any problems. The lids are flat and will hold small plants and decorations. Both boxes are underneath the eaves and and have kept our items dry through some very wet and windy winters. If you're looking to store big, heavy, bulky items, this isn't the box for you but for small, lighter items, you'll be happy with your purchase.

This model is more flimsy than I anticipated. I have purchased Suncast products previously with better results. The edges of the lid are unfinished and rough cut. I would not recommend this model.
