How many times did someone jump in the pool without grabbing a towel first! Then come dripping water into the house to get one. So I was looking for something to store pool towels in at poolside, and this is perfect. It stores about 10 or so beach towels, and they stay dry when it rains. Good purchase for pool owners.

This arrived fast and nicely packaged. It comes in separate pieces. The top lid, bottom, and four sides are individually wrapped and must be assembled together. Assembly is the easiest thing in the world. The best part is no tools are required. The pieces snap together easily and securely. The instructions were simple to follow. I am using it on my deck to store charcoal and a few utensils for the grill. We just had a tropical rainstorm here in Maryland that dumped copious amounts of wind driven rain. I checked the box afterwards and it was dry inside. So no problems with leakage. Great product. Not too heavy either so moving it around is easy.
Update Oct. 22, 2011 - One year later and the box is doing fine. No noticeable discoloration from being out in the sun and still no leakage.

Yes, a small deck box, but I found another application for it.
I've got two mini-vans, and I love them.
The problem with mini-vans is that they don't have a truck in them.
No place to store, maybe a small tool kit, some jumper cables, tow chain, a couple extra quarts of oil, a gallon of anti-freeze, some windshield washer fluid, maybe some flares or road reflectors, pair of gloves, or the numerous other things that someone would normally throw in a trunk.
So bought one of these for each of my mini-vans for my `trunk'.
They really didn't need to be any bigger as they only need to hold those loose maintenance and/or emergency items together and organized, without everything rolling around all over the back of the mini-van while driving. Keeps things hidden as well...
Again, not meant for bigger items such as shovels, chairs, long window scrapers, and other things thrown in a trunk, but Suncast does manufacture larger deck boxes for anyone needing extra storage space in the back of a mini-van or regular van, to keep things organized.

Efficient
The box is sturdy. It keeps everything dry, because it has legs. Fits my charcoal, lighter fluid, bird seed, and small gardening tools, and I have more space to put other things.

Works for what I needed
