How many times did someone jump in the pool without grabbing a towel first! Then come dripping water into the house to get one. So I was looking for something to store pool towels in at poolside, and this is perfect. It stores about 10 or so beach towels, and they stay dry when it rains. Good purchase for pool owners.

This arrived fast and nicely packaged. It comes in separate pieces. The top lid, bottom, and four sides are individually wrapped and must be assembled together. Assembly is the easiest thing in the world. The best part is no tools are required. The pieces snap together easily and securely. The instructions were simple to follow. I am using it on my deck to store charcoal and a few utensils for the grill. We just had a tropical rainstorm here in Maryland that dumped copious amounts of wind driven rain. I checked the box afterwards and it was dry inside. So no problems with leakage. Great product. Not too heavy either so moving it around is easy.

Update Oct. 22, 2011 - One year later and the box is doing fine. No noticeable discoloration from being out in the sun and still no leakage.

Yes, a small deck box, but I found another application for it.

I've got two mini-vans, and I love them.

The problem with mini-vans is that they don't have a truck in them.

No place to store, maybe a small tool kit, some jumper cables, tow chain, a couple extra quarts of oil, a gallon of anti-freeze, some windshield washer fluid, maybe some flares or road reflectors, pair of gloves, or the numerous other things that someone would normally throw in a trunk.

So bought one of these for each of my mini-vans for my `trunk'.

They really didn't need to be any bigger as they only need to hold those loose maintenance and/or emergency items together and organized, without everything rolling around all over the back of the mini-van while driving. Keeps things hidden as well...

Again, not meant for bigger items such as shovels, chairs, long window scrapers, and other things thrown in a trunk, but Suncast does manufacture larger deck boxes for anyone needing extra storage space in the back of a mini-van or regular van, to keep things organized.

Easy to assemble, just a few minutes, no tools!

The interior measurements of this box are 15x19. Since it is the inside of the box that counts, my 20x20 inch cushions will not fit. However since it is in fact a nice box and easy to assemble I will keep it for a toy box for the grandkids. The ad should really include the interior measurements, the actual usable space.

Product arrived on schedule and assembly was not difficult. After assembled, I could see that the right side panel had a defect in it in that the fit was incorrect. I called customer service and the girl that answered seemed to understand the problem in that she asked me if it appeared "warped". She described it correctly but after returning from putting me on hold first asked if I could send pictures and then informed me that once put together it could not be unassembled and that there was nothing that could be done. So, here I am with an item that is defective with no recourse. I could send the assembled product back to Amazon, but the time and cost would not be worth it. I love Amazon, but just not the response from "Suncast".

I ordered this online without seeing one so wasnt sure what it would hold. I have it near my pool pump on my above ground pool. Please view customer pictures as I have added a couple of the one I use for the pool. I have the big fat blue vacuum hose, bags of pool shock, two large buckets of chlorine tabs and ph plus, a couple bottles of chemicals, the vacuum brush head, the larger test kit, extra fittings, the Hayward skimmer attachment to vacuum, and still could put more items on top of these things if need be.

It was perfect and I no longer have to go to the patio to use these items since most of us have the pool pump on the furthest side from the patio or home, to keep the noise down and appearances. It looks GREAT sitting next to the pump and posted a picture. The only thing that wont go in it of course is the extension pole.

I am addicted to these smaller deck boxes. Just so nice to not have to dig through a hodge podge of charcoal, toys, grill items, dog food, yard and garden items in a large deck box. I have ordered two more, one for the grill items, and one for our large bag of dog food to keep it dry for our outside dogs. I always hated how the dog food would spill down in with everything else in the large deck box & spoil, now I can just flip this smaller box over and dump out to clean.

This has NO hardware and all snaps firmly into place. But dont be a skeptic about the non hardware, it is sturdy as all get out and after a large storm here to test it, NOTHING inside gets wet! I hope I have helped and think you will be very pleased with this purchase!

I've been very happy with Suncast products. I was looking for a smaller storage box to set in a space next to a giant deck box that holds the furniture cushions.Suncast DB9750 Extended Deck Box / Seat My significant other hates to lug the small stuff back and forth to the garage (fertilizer, watering can, bird food, etc.) and I really was tired of having this nice looking deck box with a bunch of small items sitting around at random -- now that they have their own home, he puts them away and I'm a much happier camper. The box was easy to assemble and I've found Suncast products very sturdy. And of course we love the convenience of ordering through amazon.com!

Very sturdy and effective. Foolish me, I dived into assembly without reading the instructions. It took several hours of me prying and hammering to get the backwards side separated. In the end I had to take a saw to one corner to get it apart. Despite one of the fittings being broken the box is still rock solid. Very impressed.

I didn't expect much for this storage box. I just needed something to store a propane tank and other outdoor things in. A tank fits in the box but it has to lay on its side. It keeps the extra tank out of the weather and makes our porch look a lot more organized than before.

The box is sturdy once you have it snapped together. Very easy to assemble. Inside dimensions are obviously less than the specified outer dimensions. I don't have the exact measurements in front of me but I think it was somewhere around 19" L x 19" W x 15" H inside the box.

Excellent little storage chest! I use it for my patio chairs cushions(1 chest) and for beach towels (1 chest) for my hot tub !! Everything stays dry. No cracking, peeling or warping. Very pleased :)
