I WANTED TO KEEP THE TOWELS OUTSIDE WITHOUT THEM GETTING WET OR DAMP & EASY FOR KIDS TO GET TO. THIS MATCHED THE DECK BOX WE HAVE FOR THE FLOATS SO I BOUGHT IT IN HOPES IT WOULD KEEP THE TOWELS DRY & I AM BEYOND IMPRESSED WE HAVE HAD SOME WINDY HARD RAIN INCLUDING A RECENT HURRICANE AND YES THEY STAYED COMPLETELY DRY! IT FITS A LOT OF TOWELS PROBABLY ABOUT 15 TO 20 BEACH SIZED TOWELS.

I use to have to take the cushions off the seating on my deck and run across the yard to store them in the shed during incoming inclement weather. That was a pain in the neck having to walk back and forth to the shed every time it was going to rain. So I decided to buy seat covers for the chairs and then I purchased this small container to store the seat covers. I keep this handy storage on the deck too! It's so much more convenient and easy to fold and store the covers before the rain comes. The container looks exactly as it does in the picture. It has that wicker look made of heavy duty plastic. I wouldn't recommend adults to sit on it regularly, but my kids love to sit on this container. It's sturdy, compact, convenient for storing covers and attractive considering it's plastic. Now it's funny to watch my neighbors running from the deck to the garage with their bulky cushions. I was kind enough to suggest it!

I really like this deck box. This meets a great deal of my needs on my back deck. I have one next to my grill which serves as a table while I am grilling, extra seating and naturally, storage. I have an additional one for gardening supplies. The grilling one holds several long-handled grilling tools, cleaning supplies, bowls, plates and serving supplies. It also holds some sunblock, first aid kit, citronella candles, etc. Essentially, it holds a lot that you would want handy on the deck. The gardening one holds pots, gardening tools, bags of soil, orchid bark, sand and salt for breaking up ice, etc.
I am a believer that even your storage containers should look like furniture and that your outdoor space is an extension of your home, so I appreciate that these are attractive as well as spacious, useful, convenient, and sturdy. They were really easy to assemble as well. They are also pretty secure from curious wild animals and have a tight closure to keep out inclement weather. I haven't had them tested in the snow and freezing cold yet, but I am confident that they will handle it. I'm really glad that I bought these and when I have enough money, I will splurge for the larger version so that I can store outdoor games and beach/pool accesories in them.

Suncast Mocha Resin Wicker storage seat
MADE IN AMERICA is one of the best things about it. A little hard to put the top on but the rest was easy. I am using this on my front porch for mail deliveries.
