set this up on the bottom vent of my grow tent to blow in cold air from my portable air conditioner. works like a charm. made a world of difference in the temperatures granted the air conditioner is on 70 fahrenheit :)

We use this in-line duct fan as part of our "no-odor" cat box. It's very quiet. We had another installed, but dust gunked up the works, so this time with tried with a filter. Been in for a month or so, and so far, so good.

I like the product, meets the desired requirements for my needs. Without the need for a speed control, it runs quiet and supplies enough output for a small area to be replenished.

Moves very little air ...not worth your time. Save your money and by a high volume fan with a speed dial...

This is working out for now supplying some ventilation for my basement which has a 4" duct fitting passing thru a glass-block window that it fits perfectly.
Cons are that it really doesn't push much air. Certainly would not add anything to a duct that was delivering air from your furnace blower. That is, I could not see it being used as an assist to move additional air to a room by you ductwork from your furnace.
It would not suffice as a bathroom fan either.
