Sizzling,
By A Customer
This review is from: Sundance (Arabesque) (Paperback)
I don't usually read romance novels--too silly and convoluted for my taste; however this book is excellent. I have read this book three times--it's that good. The relationship between Liz and Victor is complex, passionate, and spirited. The author knows Latin American history and geography well, and it shows.
"Sundance" is for those who enjoy 'intelligent' romance. It's also not for the faint-of-heart. The passion between Liza and Victor
make me wanna visit Peru' and find my own Victor Duarte'!

Unfortunately, I have to use a rating system with only five stars because this book clearly deserves ten stars. I am a compulsive reader and I am always pleased to find a romance novel with depth and substance. I have owned this book for several years and find myself drawn to it over and over again. I have just completed my third reading and I have to agree with lainey68 when she said that the author has a special knowledge of Latin American history and geography. In fact, this book is so well written it almost made me wonder if I too have a "special gift." Don't laugh at me when I tell you that I wanted to run right out and purchase some "crystals" and "probe" my husband! LOL!!!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and read Sundance. It will stimulate your mind and soul in a way that very few people or situations ever have!

i.purchased this book because of the star ratings.well to each it's own....and i didn't like this book it was a struggle to read slow and all out of sorts for me.for someone to have the gift liza stayed more confused than not.why did it take the entire book for victor and liza to get together? why couldnt she see that victor was her knight in shining armor and not the enemy.each page..i'm going ok,ok where, what, finally around the 12th chapter i see that this author wanted to milk this story for all it's worth(in my opinion isn't much)so i speed read to finish just to see how this story ended.i wouldn't recommend this for gotta have something to read.

Sundance was a good book. A little long for my taste, but a good book nontheless. Liza and Victor went through a lot in order to finally be happy and in love together!
