Eight men, who are complete strangers from diverse backgrounds and are different ages and races, meet for the sole purpose of taking golf lessons. When the men start going out after their golf lessons, they discover they have common interests and enjoy the camaraderie, but they hesitate to discuss their private lives. The reluctancy stems from the fact that Bob Websters wife is older than him; Donnie Wilson is homosexual; Lenny Harper is a three-time divorcee; Woody Roberts is twenty years older than his wife; Russell Allens wife is physically abusive; Justin Williams has served time in prison; and Billy Ray Taylor and Austin Hayes are in interracial marriages. When the golf lessons end, the men begin to golf on Sundays. Friendships begin to develop until the mens wives and significant others meet. At that point, secrets are revealed, relationships threatened, and the question is whether or not to continue Sunday golf.
