Product Description

Amazon.com Review

Ideal for decoratively lighting a walkway, driveway, garden, or patio, this outdoor light uses a solar panel to charge its battery during the daytime and a sensor to automatically turn on the bright, white LED lamp at dusk. That means no wiring and quick and easy installation. A day of normal sunlight on the lamp's solar panel charges its AA ni-cad battery (which are included and installed) sufficiently for 8 to 10 hours of lighting. (You can replace the battery in the unlikely event it fails.) The lamp arrives fully assembled; merely attach it to its spike and drive it into the ground. The 5-inch-diameter lamp also comes with two extenders that connect to the spike, letting you raise the lamp as high as 17 inches off the ground. Sturdy and weather-resistant, the light has a switch that deactivates the sensor so the user can manually turn it on or leave it off. It carries a one-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Very disappointed in the brightness of these lights. Next to useless. I wouldn't waste my time or money on any more.

3.0 out of 5 stars Sunergy White Cornerstone Light, May 27, 2003
This review is from: Sunergy Single White Cornerstone Solar Light (Lawn & Patio)
First off, this is a solar light. It is for ACCENT lighting.
Unless you live in a complete blackout area, it will not light
your way. What this light does do is cast a bluish-white light
that accents whatever landscaping you may have and can be seen even without the light. I gave this three stars because 1 of 8 lights will only stay lit for about 1hour. All the rest have been staying lit for well over 5 hours and I've yet to have a sunny day since buying them 3 days ago.

I'm pleased. ...Not bad....

Good luck.

1.0 out of 5 stars I tripped on mine, July 31, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Sunergy Single White Cornerstone Solar Light (Lawn & Patio)
There is such little light given off from these...I actually tripped on one. I placed several along the walkway leading to my front door. Only about half of them work at all anymore. The rest provide very dim lighting and only for a short period of time. I live in Phoenix and we get A LOT of sun light. So, I think the solar panels are just not quite what they should be.
