3.0 out of 5 stars $5.49 per watt is the real number for these panels, June 22, 2010
This review is from: Sunforce 39191 123-Watt High-Efficiency Polycrystalline Solar Panel Module (10-Pack) (Automotive)
The previous reviewer said these cost more than $8 per watt. But the current price of $6750 for 1230 watts calculates out to $5.49. This puts them in the range the previous reviewer himself said was the price we should be expecting. So I don't see these as out of the ball park. The only way I know to do a lot better is to do it yourself - start with individual cells and solder them together, then figure out a mounting etc. Not something everyone wants to do.

1.0 out of 5 stars solar panel, May 12, 2010
This review is from: Sunforce 39191 123-Watt High-Efficiency Polycrystalline Solar Panel Module (10-Pack) (Automotive)
At $8.13 per watt this is a total ripoff. The accessories that come with it are maybe $20.
the price per watt should be around $4 to $5. no more. there are better prices per watt, shop around.
