The Sunforce 39310 130-Watt High-Efficiency Polycrystalline Solar Panel Module is an ideal addition to both new and existing solar power systems. It comes with a voltage tester, wiring and mounting accessories to make installation easy. These solar panels can be used individually, or they can be connected together to boost power output.
Sunforce High-Efficiency Polycrystalline Solar Panels must be connected to a compatible charge controller (sold separately). The charge controller prevents the solar panel from overcharging and damaging connected batteries or electrical systems. It also prevents reverse current from sapping your battery strength at night. Sunforce High-Efficiency Polycrystalline Solar Panels can be connected in parallel for 12-Volt systems, or in series for 24- and 32-Volt applications. Polycrystalline silicon is a material consisting of thin wafers that are cut from a silicon crystal which has grown in several directions. The Sunforce 39310 130W Solar Kit with Sharp Module has water white tempered glass, EVA laminate, plus aluminum frame for extended outdoor use. The bypass diodes minimize the power drop caused by shade. The 39310 is designed for RVs, homes, boats, back-up and remote power use, 12 Volt battery charging, and solar power stations, pumps, and lighting equipment. The 39310 has high efficiency polycrystalline solar cells, and is easy to install and completely maintenance free. The solar panel is completely weatherproof, and come with a 25 year warranty. Not worth it.,

This is about the most affordable solar solution out there, but that ain't saying much.
Assume you are lucky to get 500 watt-hours a day with this thing, at a value $.10 per Kw/hr you are getting 5 cents per day with each panel. at a price of $800 that means it will take 16,000 days to get your money back on investment. That's almost 44 years! assume the average wattage out put for the hours at 8oclock and 6 oclock is 10 watts, at 7 and 5 its 20 watts at 8 and 4 its 30 watts at 9 and 3 its 50 watts, at 10 and 2 its 75 watts at 11 and 1 its 95 watts and at 12 its 110 watts. daily wattage is 20 + 40 + 60 + 100 + 150 + 190 + 110 300 + 250 + 120 670 watts per day then subtract 170 to factor in for cloudy/rainy days. Everybody and their grandma knows this is not a good investment. Wind turbines are more affordable, but even then, you're better off on the grid.
