The Sunforce 60022 30 Amp Solar Charge Controller prevents overcharging of 12 Volt batteries. It is intended for use with 12 Volt solar panels, and can handle up to 30 amps of array current and up to 450 Watts of solar power. The 60022 will provide maintenance free protection of your solar panel and batteries. The controller will automatically indicate the charged condition of your battery on the LED bar graph. The 60022 is designed to work with a variety of 12 Volt solar panels for indoor use.

A charge controller is a very important feature of a solar system and must be used on all systems over 15 Watts. A charge controller protects your batteries from overcharge and discharge. Charge controllers are the maintenance free protection of your solar panel and batteries.
A charge controller monitors the battery’s state-of-charge to insure that when the battery needs change-current, it gets it, and also insures the battery isn’t overcharged. very good product. I have it controlling a 500 watt solar array. First one failed after about a month, amazon replaced it, no problems since.

This product is what I was looking for. It was easy to install and set up. The only drawback I've found is that the LED charge level lights are a little hard to read. I would recommend this to my friends!

I like this Solar Charge controller. The documentation that comes with it, however is terrible. The functions described of the LED indicators do not match the actual functions. And there is a reset button that is not even mention.
The controller itself seems to be operating as I would expect.
