very good product. I have it controlling a 500 watt solar array. First one failed after about a month, amazon replaced it, no problems since.

This product is what I was looking for. It was easy to install and set up. The only drawback I've found is that the LED charge level lights are a little hard to read. I would recommend this to my friends!

I like this Solar Charge controller. The documentation that comes with it, however is terrible. The functions described of the LED indicators do not match the actual functions. And there is a reset button that is not even mention.
The controller itself seems to be operating as I would expect.

The user guide is worthless the unit is great. You must figure out how to operate the darn thing by yourself. Press and hold the test button until some light or lights come on on the left of the charger telling you the state of the batteries. Once running it will tell you if it is in the charge mode completely by showing the green lightening bolt. The unit works perfectly. If however you are trying to supply power besides charging the battery you will need a grid tie inverter along side.

If you are buying this unit because of price and features beware! I can tell you as I am looking at the product right now the discription "Continuously display the charging current or battery voltage on the LCD digital meter" does NOT apply to this unit. But the discription below it "Automatically indicates the charged condition of your battery on the LED bar graph" is accurate. So if your good with that buy it. I haven't used it and I'm not going to so I can't comment on how it works, but the other reviews seem positive.

For someone who is just looking to get into alternative energy, this product is a great start.

Just Bought this Sunforce 60022 30 Amp a month ago connected to Four 80 watts solar panel and charging to a deep cycle battery and don't understand how to read the 4 LED indicator lights that thought this 4 LED should light up while Charging the Battery til Full Charge, Need to Push the Button Battery Test/ Reset for couple a second and the LED lights up where the Battery Condition at and the same time it Reset and start all over Again from Red LED Lights to Bulk Charge LED, Nothing Said About the Battery Test/Reset on the User Manual,Is this Normal? or I Just Got Defective one?
