Interesting little device. Voltmeter is .22 VDC high, no adjustment available. Sample time for DVM is a little slow. Using to keep 100 A/Hr battery "topped off" with two solar panels. Max charging current so far is around 4 Amps which the unit handles very well, no apparent heating, no electrical noise generated. Have it diode isolated and in parallel with AC charger and they both are functioning nicely. Only thing to change would be a terminal strip vs. wires included and adjustment for DVM. The box itself could be rectangular instead of the curved thing it comes in. Would make mounting a lot easier.

I use the Sunforce 10 amp controller with a Sunforce solar panel to charge and maintain the battery on my hunting camper. We do not have commercial power available and don't want to carry a generator for a short weekend. The controller is working fine. This is the second one I have had on there. The first had a faulty digital readout screen. I had a 7 amp Sunforce, but it seemed to allow leakage overnight. This one will charge the battery up to 12.8 Volts, but apparently no more, whereas the promo says it will do 14 Volts, then maintain. It has not brought the battery up to a maintenance level as yet, but it does bring the battery back up to better than 12 Volts rather quickly after an evening of using the lights and light appliances like the furnace fan. All in all, I am satisfied with this product.

This Sunforce charge controller was bought as a component for my solar generator and at first, I wasn't sure it was going to work because other charge controllers are more expensive and this one had 10amps. Turns out i had nothing to worry about because the Sunforce can handle my 12 volt system. I was able to mount it straight to the battery box with some nuts and bolts and the fittings that go to the battery were exactly the size I needed.. I'm using n 80W micro-crystalline panel and so far, the controller is delivering a steady and fast charge to my battery. My 110 amphour battery gets charged back from 25% to 100% in about 6 hours. The indicator lights are easy to read and the liquid crystal voltage readout is accurate. The readout only uses 10ma which is good because it stays on all the time.

Here's the fun part. We made a modification on the connections by using a 15 amp 125-Volt 2-Pole Polarized Light-Duty Plug on the panel, and a 15 amp 125-Volt Light-Duty Plug on the controller's input wires. This makes it a snap, literally, to hook up and unhook the generator box from the solar panel so I can roll it inside the house.

Arrived in perfect condition -followed the simple instructions. I have 2 batteries wired in parallel with a 60 watt solar pannel. This unit went right to work. It keeps the batteries charged and ready for use.

Got the charge controller quickly. Easy to hook up and works as I expected. I am only charging with about 4.5A right now. The LEDs are informative and the Voltage display is a nice feature.

I received prompt service through Amazon.com when I order this item. The instructions were easy to follow and I wired the controller in to the system very quickly. It is working quite well charging our R.V. batteries on our motorhome.

This charge controller was easy to install and works flawlessly. My favorite feature is the digital display that shows the current battery voltage.

Ordered this item on Wednesday and received it on Friday just in time for a Week end project! I did mount this controller in a RV/Camper, with 2 panel on the roof. The unit itself is well build and the installation was fool proof. There is no setup, no buttons: just identify the right wire, cut a hole somewhere, use the enclosed screw and voila!

My only comment for Sunforce would be to not terminate the Battery wire with any kind of connector, because the red wire is over sized and I had to cut it to make it fit my circuit.

Sunforce have low key product that are way overpriced. I would not buy this if i had a second chance.
