When I was a child, I could spend hours staring at my aunt Josephine's aquamarine shaded acrylic umbrella handle, just because of the completely transparent greenish blue - gray shade. As an actual ceramist and chinese culture lover, now I think this was the origin of my celadon glaze deep passion. What a great surprise to finding a wonderful text describing the origins, history, characteristics and compositions of such charming aquamarine colored iron bearing glazes!Those Celadon Blues (Oriental Glaze Monographs)
