This is by far my favorite k-drama I've seen so far!!! The main character is a strong female and intelligent and likeable. She doesn't sit around and look sad and wait for a guy to fix her problems. She gets tricked into attending this boy school to become a government official and she WANTS to be an official and change the injustice. All of the obstacles she has throughout her education, she works hard to overcome (like learning archery for a competition when everyone thinks she can't do it), while concealing that she is a female (which has some funny parts). There is humor and heartfelt triumphant moments, along with angst and romance. The male friends, and of course the love interest, are uniquely different in personality and make quite an amusing, caring group. There is the rogue, outlaw martial artist, the playboy who loves the concubines and the uptight, law abiding scholar no one can beat academically and who does not know his own emotions. They help her get through challenges, but not by doing it for her but giving support and helping in their own part. She is smart and determined when given a problem and she will solve it.

On the romance side, it's so funny when Lee Sun-joon starts to develop feeling for her but he thinks she is a man so he believes he is gay. It's a lot of angst and romance since she has developed feelings for him too but doesn't realize that's what they are as she focuses on school.

Awesome drama and recommended for everyone.

**Spoiler alert** I have to say, unlike MOST Korean dramas that are historical, everyone does not die in the end and it's a happy ending for everyone, so no tears. So refreshing!!!
