I've used this brand and Real Flame. I decided to try this one because of the reviews re odor; there's a definite "smell" at the end of the burn of a Real Flame can. After using 8 cans of Sunjel, I've noticed no odor; but even after "shaking" to ensure everything is mixed properly, the can does not burn completely. Fully 1/3 of the can remains and refuses to remain lit, no matter what I do. So for all I know, the last part of Sunjel might have an odor, but I'll never know. Leaving that much unusable product behind is unacceptable. Won't use Sunjel again.

I have used the competitors product, which produced smell. The Sunjel does not have an odor, very pleased with this product.

Great product. Simulates a wood burning fire, crackles and all. No bad odor. I love this stuff.

I had ordered a wall fire place and my choices for fuel were limited. I had read the reviews on this product and while they were not 5 star went with it because it was the only one that didn't give off a fuel smell. That's the upside to this. They function for the job intended but the shipping time is way too long. I believe it took over 5 weeks to get the product and it was not back ordered. Fortunately for me, the quantity I ordered will last a long time, as I use the fireplace for effect only. Hopefully when I run out there will be other products offered to do the job.

Sunjel is the best - no smell, no headaches - just a nice crackling, dancing flame.

I ordered this product on February 6 - on February 11 we lost power in the Mid-Atlantic blizzard and went cold in the house because Stacks and Stacks had not delivered. It's now the 18th and still they haven't delivered. There's nothing wrong with the Sunjel itself- I have ordered it from others and, FYI, when ordered from other sources did NOT have the bad smell other negative reviews have noted. Try Northline Express.
