Sunjoy Havenbury Gazebo Replacement Canopy Cover

Every single picture shows the side curtains on this replacement. IT DOES NOT COME WITH THEM. At the very end of the page it does state replacement canopy only and yes I should have read this. HOWEVER I am not quite understanding why EVERY picture would show the curtains. This to me was very misleading and I could have purchased this cover only MUCH cheaper but chose this manufacturer due to the fact that I believed it included the curtains and would restore my canopy system to it's original state. The only plus is that the canopy top does fit I will give you that. Pictures should show the true product allowing for honest choice by the customer without reading fine print. There is NO reason whatsoever to show the curtains in the pictures if they are NOT INCLUDED.

I have mixed feelings about this replacement. Here are my findings:

1) Seller's website says better material. The material does not seem any different from original. Fabric was not an issue in replacing original, so this is not an issue.
2) Seller's website says better stitching. Stitching did appear nominally better than original. Since rotted stitching is what caused me to trash the original after last season, I hope this makes a difference in how long it lasts.
3) Fit well, but looser at top of canopy than original.
4) Two of the skirt openings for support rods were not measured well. Openings stretch where this occurred.

I got three seasons out of the original canopy. At 40% more than an original replacement canopy I need to get five seasons out of this canopy to be money ahead. Obviously, I can't know how long this one will last, but my first impression is that I won't get any more time out of this canopy than the original.

Update 11/26/2011

Removed the canopy for the season today. Even though I was extremely careful working the pocket off the end rod, it still ripped the fabric just outside the seam line. I may be able to patch it or I may not. Regardless, this top was pretty much a one season proposition. Downgrading the original three stars to one. Save your money, buy an original replacement top from Target.

I was worried that this would not fit but it fit perfectly and was very easy to replace the storm torn and tattered original one.
