Sunken Treasures of Lake Tahoe,
By Laura Roban (Minneapolis, MN and lived in Dayton, NV for a while in 1995. Worked at Zephyr Cove Stables the summer of 1995 also.) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sunken Treasures of Lake Tahoe [VHS] (VHS Tape)
When I was in Lake Tahoe on the paddle wheel boat out of Zephyr Cove they show this video on the way back from Emerald Bay. It is a very informative video and gives fun facts that most visitors never find out about the lake. If you are interested in geologicals this is also a great video for that explaining how the lake formed, etc. If you are interested in history this is a fun video. Many of the sunken ships have been there for over 30 years. If you are interested in Lake Tahoe Folklore, the narrarator give a few myth, legends, etc.As you can tell, I really enjoyed it. It is more educational that fun, but I guess I liked that about it. I miss the lake when I am back in Minneapolis "the city of lakes" and this would be a fun video to watch when I long to be at Lake Tahoe.
