Good: Very affordable price from an Amazon vendor (I bought five). Perfect fit for classic racing saddles like Selle Italia Turbo, Selle San Marco Rolls, and Regal. Protects leather saddles from scuffing, and water/sun during inclement weather. Prevents drying and deterioration of leather saddles during storage. Covers up old/worn out saddles without the expense of restoration/recovering with leather (also noted by other reviewers).

Not so good: Loose fit around the sides of newer, narrower saddles like Selle Italia SLR, Flite, Fizik Aliante, etc. The shorter sides of these saddles cause excess lycra material to bunch up. Won't fit saddles wider than approx. 145mm.

Overall: Useful, affordable, and simple protection for classic saddles but won't fit newer or much wider ATB/recreational saddles too well. Durability remains to be seen.

I refurbish vintage bicycles. These covers (racing/mountain) from Sunlite are lycra covers and fit bikes with small to medium seats extremely well. They are attractive and make older seats look good.

Fits a Brooks Pro leather saddle like a glove!

Tip: The optional blue/black and red/black color covers by sunlite look more for women riders.

I bought this after searching for a waterproof bike seat cover. It is not waterproof, not even close. It is however a nice cover for slim bike seats. As mine was beginning to come apart, this allowed for a nice cover on it and did shed some water, but I ended up buying the aardvark cover to suit my needs.

I teach a water-bike class using Hydroriders. The original seat covers had gotten all stretched out so that the seats would slip off when the riders stood up - these inexpensive and practical covers hold the seats on nicely and dry out quickly. My order arrived earlier than I expected and I plan to get more covers so I'm ready to replace the remaining ones as needed.
