The description for this item omits one key piece of information. The so-called mounting bracket attaches to the nut on your handbrake assembly. If you have either something else there, or your nut isn't long enough or you don't want the reflector at the outer edge of your bike, this isn't the item for you. I'm awaiting an RMA to send this item back. The seller's policy is that you pay both original and return shipping on returns, so, we'll see how much I loose on this purchase.

Subsequent note: The seller, Niagara Cycle, contacted me regarding the return of this item. They agreed that the description was lacking and said that they would modify it to make clear that this is a handbrake mount, and would return my money, including the shipping charges. That being the case, I have to give the seller five stars credit for their handing of this. Once they change the description I would give the product a better rating (as of now it hasn't been changed so it is still not an accurate description of what you are buying). I will however provide the seller with positive feedback on their handling of my return.

As it turns out, the description of the item could have been clearer. The included mounting bracket doesn't, unless you happen to have a bike that's designed for this specific mount.

It took me a while longer than it should have to figure this out. There isn't so much as a half-sheet of instructions or a picture of what the reflector looks like mounted. So, which side is "up" and which end of the bracket is supposed to go on the bike-- well, let it be a challenge to you.

...now all I have to do is get a mounting bracket for the mounting bracket, and I'll all set. Ack.
