This is a standard 16" tire. It fits my daughter's Huffy "Princess" bike we got at *mart. I looked all over locally and nobody carried these in white. *mart only has black 16" replacement tires, which look odd on the pink and purple "Princess" bike.

This tire fits this bike. Ours is purple, so they changed the color for this model year, but otherwise should be the same.

If you have a child's bike w/ 14" rims, you already know most stores including walmart, target, and toys r us, and specialty bike stores probably don't carry this tire in stock. Amazon was the one place that I was able to find this size tire and the prices are reasonable.

The sunlite/kenda tires are great for little boys to ride their bikes (and girls) on. The price is fair (about $10 each). These have a wired bead running thru the tire’s edges so please use a couple of tire levers to seed (or pop) your tires on properly. The wire beads do add weight to the tires which is fine, but it would be nice if the 14” and 16” tires were lighter weight tires…..these are little legs that are trying to get the bike rolling. I ordered a few of these tires because each tire is going to last about one riding season (late March to late November) before losing that knobby tread. The smoother “city street” tread is fine for the 12” bicycles since most likely, your son or daughter on the 12” bike is still using their training wheels and doing a lot of their riding on the sidewalks and pavement. I chose the knobby tread (comp III tread for you BMX riders) for the 14” and 16” bikes because once the training wheels are removed, my boys are going to start exploring dirt, grass and anywhere their legs can pedal them on. Also the other reason I ordered a few spares is that eventually your kids are going to discover hitting the brakes and skidding. Just like you did when you were a kid, this is going to wear out your tires much faster.

If you’re concerned about flats for your youngster once they start riding their bikes everywhere:
I also ordered the kenda/pyramid/sunlite thorn resistance tubes. I’ve been using the Bontrager TR 700c tubes in my Trek racing bike forever. I love them. Basically, the tubes are twice as thick on the side of the tube that faces the inside of the tire which adds a little more protection against flats…..not flat free, but certainly does add a little more protection. I don’t recommend any of the tubes that have “slime” in them…..

It was very hard finding this tire. I went to a couple of different stores with NO luck. A search on AMAZON got me just what I needed.

I bought this tire for my son's bike and it fits perfectly, because the description was precise. This tire size was not easy to find so I am glad i found it here at Amazon.

This is a good tire for any kids "get-around" bike. it features a thick Comp 3 BMX tread for good traction in a lot of conditions and is long lasting.

I got ahold of a 1986 Huffy Sigma a while back that was in need of some tires before it could even be rode. So I checked on here to see what was available. In doing so, I came across these Sunlite MX-3 white tires. The price was good, even after shipping and handling, so I ordered some. Once they arrived, I installed them in place of the old dry rotted Cheng Shin tires that came with the bike. They went on with very little fight, and seated to the tire bead very well. They look great! These are the same tires I got from my bike shop, except cheaper. The "Kenda" name is on the side wall of the tire, so I know I got a decent tire. I don't race or whatever. All I do is ride leasurly. I would recommend these tires to someone who was nice replacements, without breaking the bank.

These tires are perfect for a child's bicycle tire replacement for 20" bicycles. The tires on our daughter's bicycle were pretty worn, and were also black (to which our daughter expressed her dislike). These tires were economical,, they fit perfectly with no tightness/looseness issues, and they are white- our daughter loved the new tires on her bicycle and is happily riding away on them- they seem to roll perfectly for her, and have enough tread so she can go anywhere she wants.
