The build quality on these things is poor. One side of one of the grips is starting to twist and turn when I grip it. Other than that these things work just fine.

Both broke within five minutes of trying them. Worst product I've EVER purchased. DO NOT BUY THESE! VERY CHEAP CONSTRUCTION! DOES NOT LAST!

This is a very basic item -- no frills here. It is cheap molded plastic attached to a metal sprint, where one side is shaped to fit your fingers and the other is not. There is a small metal clasp to keep the grip from getting too wide or narrow.

If you're like me, then this is exactly what you are looking for. I did not want fancy fitness equipment, just a cheap grip I can keep on my desk at work. For this, this item is perfect in both price and design. Since there are two, I keep one at my desk at home and the other at work.

I did wrap a rubber band around the spring and metal clasp in order to keep the grip from rattling during use, though. This was a minor modification.
