The build quality on these things is poor. One side of one of the grips is starting to twist and turn when I grip it. Other than that these things work just fine.

Both broke within five minutes of trying them. Worst product I've EVER purchased. DO NOT BUY THESE! VERY CHEAP CONSTRUCTION! DOES NOT LAST!

This is a very basic item -- no frills here. It is cheap molded plastic attached to a metal sprint, where one side is shaped to fit your fingers and the other is not. There is a small metal clasp to keep the grip from getting too wide or narrow.

If you're like me, then this is exactly what you are looking for. I did not want fancy fitness equipment, just a cheap grip I can keep on my desk at work. For this, this item is perfect in both price and design. Since there are two, I keep one at my desk at home and the other at work.

I did wrap a rubber band around the spring and metal clasp in order to keep the grip from rattling during use, though. This was a minor modification.

This particular hand grip is poorly designed and is destined to break with minimal usage as mine did with very little usage. Thankfully the seller stood behind the product and refunded the purchase price.

I use to be an avid rock climber and since I've been married and moved away from my climbing gym, found that my hand and arm strength just are not what they use to be. I wanted to keep up on my flexability and strength and thought this would be a good and easy to use addition to my home gym. These broke the third day of use while I was sitting at the computer. I bought another pair, thinking it could be a faulty pair, the second broke within five days of use. I'm strong, but it's not me, the quality is very poor. Save your money or invest a little more on something else.

These were pointless to purchase, as they broke within a week of very moderate usage. The handles are made of plastic and simply snapped from the tension of the compressed metal. Unless you just feel like blowing a couple of bucks, I suggest not buying these.

Purchased these for my 12 yr old hockey son for Christmas. After only two weeks (and little use) both of the plastic handles, one on each hand grip cracked and the grip fell off. Get what you pay, I guess.

It wasn't a good purchase for me. It is poorly made. Don't be fooled by the price, even shipping costs more than it's price. The grip doesn't fit a normal hand, it scratches and just irritates you. Due to irritation you can't do that much repitition. I would not recommend it.

When I received these, the hard plastic instantly started hurting my hands. The tension on them is pretty high, and the entirely un-cushioned handles make it pretty painful to try to use them. Thankfully, in the first round of exercising, one of the handles broke off, so sparing my hands, and I then decided to give up on them.

I really don't like giving negative reviews, but I also don't like wasting money, and I know that nobody else does either, so I feel it my responsibility to tell my experience.

They did arrive promptly, however, so I appreciated that.

Package of 2 and both are garbage. The seam where the cheap plastic comes together for the handles cuts into the joints of my fingers. The handle on one of the units twists freely on the metal coil and is no longer functional. They both suffer from the painfully sharp seam issue.
