5.0 out of 5 stars finally! relief from pain!
I'd thought about getting an inversion table for some time. I've had sciatic pain for years that had made it unbearable to spend more than a couple of minutes lying on my back..on any surface. It would start to feel as if I was lying on a rock, so I would have to lie on my side. My doctor said it was a small amount of degeneration in my hip...take 2-3 Aleve a day...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good table
Good table for the price. I paid $107 with free shipping. Very sturdy. The balancing is off. I am 6'2" and I have to set the extension to 6'5-6" for it balance correctly. The comfort level is OK. I would recommend the table at this price.

5.0 out of 5 stars finally! relief from pain!, May 10, 2010
I'd thought about getting an inversion table for some time. I've had sciatic pain for years that had made it unbearable to spend more than a couple of minutes lying on my back..on any surface. It would start to feel as if I was lying on a rock, so I would have to lie on my side. My doctor said it was a small amount of degeneration in my hip...take 2-3 Aleve a day.
After reading many the reviews of these inversion tables, the whole concept of them seemed to make sense--a simplified form of spinal traction (which hospitals use), which would decompress (hopefully) any pinched nerves. I decided to take the plunge. Not wanting to spend a lot of money, since I wasn't sure would it work, I decided to buy this less expensive model.
It arrived in pieces, but my son and I were able to set it up in about 30 mins, in spite of the fact the instructions weren't easy to follow (just poorly drawn pictures).
After using it for about a week, my pain eased up . Then one day (about 2 weeks after using it a few minutes once a day) it dawned on me, that I had been lying on my back reading for about an hour, and I didn't have any pain! I've actually stopped using the Aleve, except for headaches. I'm thrilled that such a low- tech, easy to use item could cure my pain.
I use it every morning for a few minutes before I have breakfast. I'm not totally upside down, yet..I'm about half way there. I do some of the exercises on it, and I feel great! I highly recommend getting one if you have back or hip pain--you never know..it might just be your low-tech miracle!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product for the price!, October 6, 2010
Bought this about a week ago, my husband uses it everyday and says he is starting to feel drastic relief from his back pain. Looked at more expensive models but we are very happy with this one. Very sturdy and easy to use. My husband set this up very quickly.

5.0 out of 5 stars low back relief using the "inversion table"., May 21, 2009
This is a great product for back pain. It stretches and re-aligns the spinal column through gravity, providing relief to pinched nerves and collapsed vertebrae.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's amazing, November 14, 2011

I've had this inversion table for 3 weeks now. It has done everything I had hoped it would. I have spinal stenosis and have had very bad low back and leg pain for the last year. Had an epidural and that was good for about 3 weeks. After using this inversion table twice a day for about 2 minutes my back has been better than it has for a long time. I can actually walk more than a block now without major pain.

I wonder why the physical therapist and doctors did not mention this treatment to me before. Is it because they can't make any money on it? It cost me less than 3 physical therapy sessions and has worked better than anything else I've tried so far. Not everyone's back problems are the same but If you have pinched nerves in your back this really worked for me.

Very easy to assemble and set up.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fast Results & Great Value, February 4, 2012

This review is from: Sunny Health & Fitness Inversion Table (Health and Beauty)
Debated ordering an inversion table for years now and am happy the debate is over. This product delivers noticeable results and is a great value for the money. After 4 days I have moved on to the most advanced setting (has 3) and my back pain is fading fast. When I first used the product, I was literally curled over in pain with a very weak lower back that was pulsating in pain. It felt like my lower back was compressed to the point of no return. Went for a massage and 2 trips to the chiropractor with no results. After 3 minutes inverted I felt an immediate release. Each day I noticed greater relief (about 3-5 minutes a day). I highly recommend this product to anyone in the market - I couldn't imagine what the $200 or $300 models offer that this does not! Goes up in minutes with the right tools (standard ratchet set and a vice grip). The only issue I had with setup was the hex bolts provided had a phillips screw head and it stripped very easily. Fixed that by using the vice grip!

Now that my back is feeling better, started to do some inverted crunches - this product goes beyond just relief, it will actually help to strengthen the core in the long run. Again, this product is extremely sturdy and reliable.

This product takes some getting used to if you have never owned one before, but overall I am getting used to using it. It helps that in the back of the instruction manual it also gives you instruction on different ways to use it also. I have been enjoying getting to know how to use this piece of equipment. Overall getting it put together was not too bad, just make sure you have a little patience at some points during the process.

2.0 out of 5 stars Eh..., April 17, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Sunny Health & Fitness Inversion Table (Health and Beauty)
I'm not so thrilled with this purchase. I was ISO of an inexpensive inversion table that was available for Prime $3.99 one day shipping since my hubby's back is about to go out again and this seemed like it would be an OK option. It looked like the one I got might have been partially assembled and then returned??? There was some damage to it and some of the early steps on the instructions were already completed. The tools and bolts and things were in new packaging so I'm not 100% sure. The instructions were just OK. I didn't expect much, but it took a bit of common sense and deductive reasoning to get it all together. The tools included were useless. Standard tools weren't much better b/c the bolts were not consistently sized!! The ratchet I was using would fit on one or two, but not all. I had both standard and metric sets available and there were two bolts I believe that I never found a fit for - it was either too small or just big enough to strip off the points of the hex. I ended up using pliers for some of it which was not the easiest task. So weird!!

The quality of the product itself is marginal - it could be partially b/c of all the issues I had/noticed assembling it, but I don't fully trust it to hold my weight. My dad has one from another brand and it feels much sturdier and functions a lot better. The weld points are uneven on this so there is a bit more "wiggle" to the whole table part when it goes back and comes up. Just feels unsteady. I also don't like the bar going across the back. It had a piece of foam attached (not sure if that was standard or not) that was horribly uncomfortable, but even without it you can feel it when you lay back. It also doesn't "lock" in place inverted like my dad's does which is handy so you can do a bit more stretching while upside down. I'm going to do some more adjusting and see if maybe something is just off. If it weren't for the fact that we NEED this item NOW I would for sure figure out a way to return it. I'm not sure I'm up for disassembling it anyway. Hopefully it will at least serve it's intended purpose for my husband.

3.0 out of 5 stars does the job, March 1, 2012

This review is from: Sunny Health & Fitness Inversion Table (Health and Beauty)
This table was kind of rinky dink to put together, and it took me a while because it only came with one page of instructions but, once it was all put together and we started testing it out...I discovered it does the job. Its a tiny bit chincey and on the lower end of some of the more expensive ones I've seen and used. But within a budget it really does provide pain relief!
