Product Description

This newly introduced ST18 wireless doorbell is a sister product of widely praised Sunnybell doorbells ST60, ST66 & ST78, which have been well known for their long transmission range and durability. This product comes with one pushbutton (transmitter) & one doorbell (receiver), the pushbutton runs on a 12V battery, which is included in the package, and the doorbell is a plug-in type, no batteries needed. Both the transmitter and the receiver have a 16 coded channel to choose. The doorbell has three modes, you can choose the ding-dong sound, or the flashing LED light, or both. The flashing light feature is great for those who are hearing impaired or if the doorbell is used in a noisy environment.

4.0 out of 5 stars 110v AC Direct Plug-in Wireless Door Chime/Doorbell, ST78 What a relief!, October 20, 2005

This is a great product. The sound could be just a little more realistic, but that is the only thing that I find less than perfect. It's loud, has several selections of chimes and channels, easy to install and it's a huge help to me. Now I always know when someone's at the door.

I own a triple decker three family house and the doorbells were out for the two top floors. Both Kaito doorbells work perfectly over this long distance. It was simple to switch the channel on one of them so that they would be on different channels. I think it was a good decision for me not to buy the cheapest doorbells I could find and have a good chance of proper function. I am very satisfied.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cheap and does the job, November 29, 2007

This review is from: SunnyBell ST18 16-Channel Plug-in Type Digital Wireless Doorbell with Flashing Light.
It is cheap and does the job. The chime is about twenty feet from the transmitter and works fine. The quality of the product and the instructions could be better though. One big issue I have is that the button on the transmitter must be held in for about 2 seconds before the chime rings. When I first installed it I thought it was broken until I realized that. I will have to put a label next to the button stating that it should be held for 2 seconds.
