ClampPod Pro equipment holders clamp onto almost anything, and are designed to support a wide variety of cameras and photographic accessories as heavy as 2 pounds. Intended for compact 35mm SLRs, VHS-C, APS, 8mm, and digital camcorders or lighting accessories, the ClampPod Pro is perfect for close-up photography, as a vacation companion, or as a vehicle or hiking add-on. Whenever a third hand is needed, the ClampPod Pro rises to the occasion. The unit boasts a flexible steel neck that bends in all directions, along with a neck assembly that unscrews from the clamp base for compact storage. The ClampPod Pro's heavy-duty spring clamp, meanwhile, is outfitted with rubber pads that deliver a no-slip grip while also protecting the clamped surface. And thanks to the clamp's keyway opening, it's easy to use the clamp on vertical items. Tried this out for in-car use, the spring in the clamp is really weak and slips easily. Arm has decent range of motion, but already has loosened up to the point that it only maintains a position inside a narrow range. Ball seat mount is best part. Overall, if you need a quick clamp to pretty much anything camera mount for static shots, or maybe an accessory mount, this should be fine.

Over all I like the clamp it was quite a bit larger than I thought....I wanted to stick it in my small camera bag! I guess it probably did have the measurments on it...I was suprised!

First, this isn't a Manfrotto, but it is a reasonable clamp at over half the cost. That's the deal. Works great as a small flash clamp or for a small point and shoot camera. I don't recommend using the "goose neck", it makes the clamp top heavy. The ball head works very well on all Nikon flashes up to the SB-900. If you don't want to drill a clamp (diy, I salute you), this isn't a bad alternative.
