Designed to fit into more places, this slim wine cooler keeps up to 12 standard-size bottles of wine properly chilled and ready to enjoy. Its touch-sensitive control panel with an LED temperature display makes it simple to adjust the thermostat between 52 and 65 degrees F, depending on the type of wine stored. The unit accommodates full reds at temperatures from 59 to 65 degrees F, light reds at 54 to 57 degrees F, and rose and white wines at 52 to 57 degrees F. Since it only chills to 52 degrees F, however, it's not recommended for sparkling wine or champagne, which taste best when chilled at cooler temperatures. The cooler supplies five slide-out chrome shelves with a scalloped design for securely cradling the bottles of wine. Furthermore, the unit features a thermoelectric cooling system, which avoids vibrations caused by compressor cooling systems. Such vibrations disturb the sediments in wine, disrupting the aging process. Without vibration, stored wine can age naturally. Even more, the unit's thermoelectric cooling system uses no Freon, which can be harmful to the planet; offers energy efficiency, only using about as much energy as a 75-watt light bulb; and delivers ultra-quiet operation. Other thoughtful details include soft interior lighting with an on/off switch, adjustable leveling legs, and a tinted double-pane glass door with a recessed handle for a clean look. Freestanding and ETL-approved, the 70-watt wine cooler measures 19-1/2 by 10-1/4 by 25-3/5 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.

Seems like a great product and value. However, they made the shelves too close together. It does hold the smallest bottles of wine, but many "Standard" bottles (Dancing Bull, Rancho Zabbaco, etc) don't fit unless they are jammed in and then you can't get them back out without unloading the whole thing. Don't waste your time and get a model that is more versatile. As if insult to injury, the thermostat didn't work either but that was probably a fluke.

I bought this wine cooler after reading some good reviews. It was a complete waste of time and money, the wine cooler worked for about 4 hours and then this uncontrolled beeping noise would continueoulsy play. I unplugged the unit and tried resetting it but the noise was still there when I plugged it back in. I called the company and all they said was it might be the control board. How does a wine cooler die after 4 hours.

My boyfriend bought this wine refrigerator for me as a birthday gift on a total whim. It was a fantastic, unexpected present and has so far worked perfectly for me. I've never owned a wine cooler previous to this one, but I do live in a smaller apartment, so it's compact size is exactly what I needed. As another review stated, the shelves are kind of close together preventing the BIGGER wine bottles from fitting side-by-side, however - all standard wine bottles will fit. I tend to buy the larger bottles of Barefoot Moscato, in which case I simply remove one shelf for the time being. Personally, I'm not at the point where I've collected dozens of wines and will RARELY have more than 12 bottles at one time to fill this fridge anyway. All in all, it's a fantastic product that chills wines perfectly and fits just about anywhere. :)

Compact and easy to install, no complaints here! You can adjust the temperature too and the racks as well. Makes it easy to store a few bottles.

Warranty is horrible
Bought this and within 4 months it crapped out. Wouldnt cool any more and made beeping sounds constantly. I had to unplug it. Read more

Will not cool?
We just received our wine cooler, but can't get the temperature to stay at the coolest setting. Any advice? It did not come with an instruction manual.

A disaster - never againm
The first and last time I ever order anything on Amazon. It just does not work. Period. Threw it in the garbage can, and learnt the lesson that buying on-line is not worth it.
