Product Description

This mechanical water temperature gauge features a black 2-in dial face with classically designed panels and bezels. It shows a range from 100 to 280-degrees F. It has a 270-degree dial sweep and is designed for 12-volt negative ground systems. Its numerals are in white and add style to any vehicle's backlighting. This gauge also includes 72-in capillary tubing with 5/8-in national pipe thread. It requires a mounting panel or pod or can be flush-mounted in the dash panel to maintain the original equipment's quality appearance.

I took a chance that this was a 2 inch gage, and it turned out to be true, so it fits and works. The graduations are rather large, but if you are looking for the boiling point, it works fine. I use it in a 1931 model A ford.

I purchased one sunpro gauge, and it leaked coolant everywhere. I thought this was due to faulty installation, but I purchased a second one and it leaked from the exact same spot. Don't buy these unless you want to spend all your spare time refilling your radiator.
