I do not own this product, but my mother-in-law does. I used it for over a year when we lived with her. I usually have trouble getting a good tan, as I have fair skin. I had to start out going for 5 minutes at a time. However, after a few weeks I had a golden tan and I eventually only tanned once or twice a week to maintain. It also worked wonders for my acne! The only downside to this product is that it only has 16 lamps. So if you tan on your back every time and stay in one position, you will end up with racing stripes! I fixed that problem by rotating every other time (one day on my back, the next on my stomach.) It gets the job done, and I plan on buying one for myself just as soon as I can!
