Book Description

May 2002
This work of visionary fiction, featuring 12 full-color paintings and accompanying poem, is set on the coast of Maine. Young Billy King-Fraser is reported missing in the dead of winter, but returns 90 days later to a startled family, with an even more startling tale.

He tells of falling through the ice and being taken to a castle where he see 12 paintings. As he looks at each painting, a person comes to explain the menaing of each painting. After 90 days, through some miracle of cryonics or hibernation or some such thing, Billy's breath burst through the waver-thin ice and he returns home.

The two lions are metaphors for fear and doubt. Billy learns how to control them, and at the same time develop unshakable self-confidence.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Sweet. -- Charlie Vacchiano, May 2002

Compelling. Love the paintings and poetry. Really enjoyed the story. It is more than a pathway to personal transformation. -- Garry Bowles, May 2002

"Sunrise at Two Lions" is a tour de force. This is a book of great depth, with many layers, and speaks of the process of enlightenment, joy, hope and believing in and trusting the voice of Spirit. It shows the way. The twelve paintings are saturated with true, rich color and are beautifully evocative, along with the complementary poetry. Reading "Sunrise at Two Lions" is a delightful journey.
