5.0 out of 5 stars I dont think this song deserves one star
This song has a great beat, I think it is even better than the original version. It always reminds me a nice summer evening. We like it so much that , we included this song in our playlist during our wedding.

1.0 out of 5 stars I can't go for that.
I've been a fan of Simply Red when "Holding Back the Tears" debuted. The vocals and arrangement was hauntingly amazing. But today, in an effort to steal some air-time, they've bastardized a classic Hall & Oats tune. What's more, they mixed the riff so loud that the lyrics are lost. Not that it matters, they don't have the poetry earlier works did. Definitely not worth...

Probably best known for "Holding Back The Years", Simply Red does a great version of this song. Sampling Hall & Oates "I Can't Go For That", Mick Huchnall (Simply Red) creates a mesmerizing song. Thank you Mick. Damn, I like this song and can't get it out of my head! Heard often on "Smooth Jazz" type FM stations. Ignore any negative reviews. This is a great song. Buy it!

I love this song. It has a great beat and makes you want to dance. I realize people say they "ripped off" that Hall & Oats song. Maybe so, but I like this song a lot better than the Hall & Oats song. This song is a favorite of mine. 5 stars!
